Staged to Sell Reviews (17)

Based on the information that I have reviewed we sold and titled this vehicle the same as the one that was traded in, the trade in title was the sameWe were told the vehicle was for the granddaughter and she is on the title and loan documentsBoth Grandmother and granddaughter are on the title and loan thus if this is correct it would not be a straw purchaseIf this is not correct please provide the correct information

It appears there was a misunderstanding related to two estimates created The customer had one in hand from Geico, we were working off of an estimate created by the DCF Advisor Our estimated called for a wheel repair, and the Geico sheet must have had a replacement The mistake was our employee did not match the customer’s estimate precisely apparently The customer came back in in mid-January and had the wheel replaced.apologize for the misunderstanding and inconvenience

7-28-17A total loss does not mean the clutch was damagedThe fact that you put a clutch in an automatic transmission is ridiculousBut I guess you figured that was your way of making moneyWhen I called to make the appointment, your service man told me he couldn’t fix my car till the next week because he was backed up with a lot of cars with the same problemI spoke to one of the girls in the waiting room, said she worked for a lawyer and this was her third time, bringing her car in and each time, it ran worseShe said she was going to call Revdex.com and I should do the same, which I did[redacted] ***

First off I would like to apologize for the problem this has causedWe have been in contact with the extended warranty company and we still have some questions left unanswered I would like to get the vehicle into our shop so we can inspect the vehicle and get back to the extended warranty companyWe would like to help get this resolved as soon as possible

I understand the concern and researched the vehicle to try and get some help from FordI'm sorry for the delay in responding but since this was the first time we had seen this vehicle we had to request some additional informationBased on the history of the vehicle and the fact that it has a branded title any warranty or customer assistance from Ford is voidedBased on our research it appears this vehicle was reported a total loss in February of 2015.If I can be of further assistance please let me know

We apologized to customer and agreed to refund the customerThis issue should be closed

I apologize for misstating that the granddaughter was on the tile and not the daughterAs I understand the facts as I was not there and nor was *** as stated in the original statement when the buying decision and discussions were being made but what salesperson was told and what is bring stated now is differentWe sold the vehicle to the same people as were on the tile of the trade in and if that is incorrect then there would be some misinformation somewhere. Due to this fact I will take the car back and unwind this deal all I need is the vehicle returned in the same condition as it was in when delivery was accepted and a check for $4,which is the balance of the payoff made less the value of the trade less the down paymentWe allowed $for the trade and that payoff was $and the down payment was $We are entitled to recover this money under New Mexico statueI am attaching a copy of the trade title and check for the payoff that we sent and proof that payoff was accepted

[redacted][To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, the consumer must give a reason why they are rejecting the response. If the consumer does not provide a reason the complaint will be closed Answered]Actually both estimates called for a new wheel. Someone forgot to order it and they tried to bully me into accepting it with a just a repair to the old wheel. Even after I said I would not accept it without a new wheel they still just did the repair. When they called to have me pick the car up I told them I was refusing it and they could either replace the wheel or our next conversation would be thru my attorney. They did replace the wheel, but only after I refused to pick up the car and threatened legal action. You can close the cased, because I did get the new wheel, but Chalmers response is not true. There was no misunderstanding, just incompetence and lying on their part.

I want my 100 dollars refunded for what they charged and service they did not complete.
