Review: A friend referred Stains R Us to me to add an enclosure to the bottom of my deck and to paint the exposed wood areas. Steven Smith, the person representing his company, contacted me for the job. We discussed what I wanted and he agreed that he could do the job for $800. His flyer stated that he would do a mess free job and ensure that the client is pleased with his work. He started the job in mid August and completed the job 26 August. I addressed many of the issues with him on the spot. He left white paint on the vinyl exposed areas and stated that he would not be able to remove them. The bottom enclosure is warped and does not look professionally done. He was supposed to paint the lattice in one location and bring it and install. This did not happen. There is paint all over the ground and part of my grass near the deck has died. I contacted another partner of the company, Nick R[redacted], about my concerns. He thanked me and said he was coming to access the issues. As of today, 8 September 2014, he has not stopped by to check/fix. I believe that Stains R Us has had ample time to rectify this situation. I have contacted the company on several occasions and have text messages and phone calls to verify. I believe, at this point, this company cannot be trusted therefore; I had no other choice but to file a formal complaint.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the total amount. It is going to cost me the refund plus additional money to have the entire deck stripped of the white paint and remove the messy job from the enclosure.
