My vehicle's key fob failed years ago I paid $for a new one from this dealership Now, that replacement key fob has failed I went back to the dealership to see about getting a new one and to complain about having these things fail every years They wanted $PLUS a fee for "programming" the key (which takes minutes and now even box hardware stores can do, usually for free) bringing the total back up to $ I was stunned they would charge me another programming fee for an obviously faulty product I said I would pay for the key fob, but I wanted them to waive the programming fee because IT"S THE SECOND TIME! The service manager refused I then talked with the owner and he refused after snidely asking had I purchased the vehicle from him (you see where his concern lies) I replied that no, I didn't buy the vehicle there, but I bought the key fob there He was unconcernedI finally called the manufacturer who did express concernThey gave me a FREE service contract that not only covers the faulty key fob, but also free towing and road side assistance That is how a business should be run in my opinion So, I contacted the dealership again to set up a service department appointment and I was treated very, very rudely I was told that I may still have to pay because the service contract was "so new" Needles to say, I wouldn't buy a toothless mule from Stallings Motor of Cairo, Georgia The good news is, [redacted] just gained a new customer I will drive an hour out of my way to NEVER set foot in Stalling Motors again
