Unprofessional ER nursing staff
Even though I anticipate a wait in the emergency room, I was there with my mother for 7 hours (in a room); 3 hours passed before a physician saw her, and one of the nurses was exceptionally rude. Although I left a message for Patient Relations, no one responded; and when I called again 4 days later, I was directed to another person, for whom I've left another voicemail. The customer service is poor and the run-around relative to whose responsibility it is to address what is unprofessional.

Emergency Room nurses horrible care
I went into the Stamford Hospital Emergency room and the check in nurse Jess was wonderful, but the young red headed nurse Cali was not a good nurse at all. She left me in the room without helping me or checking in with me. She never gave me the remote to call if I needed assistance and basically told me I had to stay in the bed and could not use the bathroom. Yet she did not give me a bed pan or the remote.
I ended up calling up my sister who came and took care of me in the room while I was waiting, she would disconnect the iv being she did not give me one that was portable for the bathroom.
My sister just retired from being a nurse and commented that she could not believe how I was treated.
She said if she did not come to the hospital to be with me, I would have been totally neglected sitting in my own urine.
The group of nurses and emergency room technicians that were in the ER a few years back were wonderful, but they have young cold and negligent nurses who do not want to do their job.
They will do as little as possible. They stand around talking and laughing with each other while the patient is neglected in the Emergency room.
The PA was excellent. It is just the nurses that are not very good at all.
They need to bring back the nurses and tech's that aren't any longer working in the emergency room from years ago.

Review: I attended the Urgent Care center at the Hospital in March of 2015. I received no treatment and no tests were run during my visit. The attending doctor simply performed a physical movement test to determine I had vertigo. I received two separate bills: one from EMP for the doctor's charge and one from the hospital itself. The hospital should not have billed me a separate bill as the Immediate Care Center is simply an affiiliate of the hospital. The hospital proceeded to charge me $332.79 for this visit and refused to provide me an itemized bill when I requested it several times. This charge is an erroneous charge made by the hospital as I have already paid for my service through the bill I reeived from EMP.Desired Settlement: The hospital needs to withdraw this fee from my account especially since they refuse to provide documentation juistying the charge, and as it is a charge they are claiming for an AFFILIATED business. This bill has also gone to collections and I am requesting that they withdraw their collection notice as well to prevent negative impacts on my credit.
