About weeks, April 2018, ago Mr [redacted] purchased cubic yards of topsoil blended with compost After he spread the soil, he called my office with some questions about the ability of the soil to assist in the germination of grass seed? His much repeated comment was "I have never seen soil like that where I come from", or words to that effectHe explained that the soil in New Castle was dark and loamyI explained that the basis for local soil was a sandier product, but the compost would overcome the sandy nature of the soil and the seed would germinate? Please note the pictures below taken today compared to Mr [redacted] 's photos from AprilAlso, keep in mind that Mr [redacted] does not live in this home full time, the lawn is not attended on a full time basis, I don't recall an irrigation system installedThe first weeks after the lawn was seeded, we had no rain, then weeks of rain every other day?
