Stamps Endicia Reviews (%countItem)

Background - Endicia provides my business with PC software (Dazzle) that prints USPS postage labels and automatically sends a shipping notification email FROM MY PC EMAIL CLIENT, to my customer. I have full control over the content of that email and over when, or if, it gets sent.

Problem - I just discovered, via complaints from my customers, that for at least the last month (maybe longer) Endicia has been uploading my customer's email address (stored on my PC) to their web servers and has been sending a separate ship notification email to my customers WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR PERMISSION. This email indicates it's being sent by [insert persons name here], which is the person associated with the Endicia billing account. The email does NOT contain any reference to [my business name] that is actually shipping the package. I have zero control over the content of the email that Endicia is sending to my customers. This is not only a breach of privacy but is confusing to my customers because they have no idea who [billing name] is or why [billing name] issending them a package or how [billing name] has access to the customer's personal information.

Attempted Resolution - When I contacted Stamps/Endica customer support department I was told that they don't know why these emails are being sent and that they don't know how to stop it.

Stamps Endicia Response • Mar 26, 2020

Called business and they stated that they are a customer service support company who provide service or several businesses, however, the consumer is not their customer.

I originally had a subscription for a year. In 2018 they renewed automatically without my permission or any notification (either written or email etc.) I told them I didn't want another year and I only wanted to pay month to month. They said they would refund the year and charge for the month. They did not refund. I was locked out of my online account access so I had to call and cancelled my subscription. A year (September 2019) later they charged me $15.95 for a month of service. All these charges came across on my statement as coming from "Endicia" Once again I called and told them that I had my account cancelled and to refund the fee they fraudulently charged me. They said they would cancel and refund me. No refund was ever issued. Now in December of 2019 I get a charge from "Stamps" in the amount of $17.07. I have no idea where this is coming from or why I'm charged? I now had to just cancel the account because they have my checking and routing number and so I can't get a charge back to even just change my CC information. This place is such a scam!

Hi,
I was offered free online trial with shipping cost only on 03/09/19 on the website : https://tryludicene.com/?c=f5426c5c378e4859963d3d32c2b417 .
I was not alerted about any trial duration or cancellation conditions .
I got two emails confirmations with out any alerts of other charges .

It was stated in first confirmation - Order Number: *** that I will be charged 5.97 and that this transaction will appear on your credit card statement as: VUEVAGREENCOFFEE.
It was stated in second confirmation -Order Number: *** that I will be charged 4.97 and that this transaction will appear on your credit card statement as: branksomebodybuilder.

Instead I was charged by this company shipping charges in hte amount of $4.97 and $5.97 plus the amounts of $89.97 and $88.97.

I called on 03/25/19 and 05/04/19 to explain that I am allergic and not satisfied with their creams and asking why I was charged these amounts . They replied that I called 1 day later (on 03/25) ,and I was supposed to call on 03/24/19 since it is 14 days trial . It is obvious that since product shipment took 3-4 days , I did not have the chance to try their products for 14 days as was expected .

If you check their website you can not see any alerts of further charges or any trial durations . It looks like aspam to me.

I ordered a trial of a product called LUDICENE-AGELESS MOISTURIZER. I paid the amount. 14 days later another order came to me. I called the toll-free number provided to ask why I did not have a bill and why I was sent another container of the product. The “Support Agent” said I will be charged 90 dollars! I told her I wanted an address to send it back and she said they will not accept it back. I asked for a Supervisor and she said one was not available today! I then asked the name of a Supervisor. The support agent refused to tell me. When I insisted, she said Natalie and refused to give the supervisors last name. I asked for an address to send a letter to this “ Natalie”. She said no. I asked for an email address and the women hung up on me. I called back.! Another agend hung up on me. I called back a third time and received a message machine to leave a message.

I think this place is a scam. They charged me a fee for the sample and 14 days later mailed another one and charged me $90! When I said I needed to return the product, they would not provide any information about their company and hung up the phone on me 3 times. I said that is robbing people! They kept hanging up the phone. This is a racket to rob people every 14 days for $90! They have to be stopped!!!! They know they are not legitimate because they will not provide information and hang up if you call their toll free number to get your money from coming out of your account! Not sure how this is LEGEL? Please help with this!!
