I was ok with the change last year and I also offer her 50% discount on valet service and $value of additional lightingI was happy to make her day special This client din not cancel her wedding for October ,2014- she did not send us any requests - she call the office and talk my assistant and he explained the contract - Unfortunately we need to go by rules and regulations - October is a very busy month for weddings and we normally book one year in advanceWe lost money last year unable to book October 20,and we will lose money again this yearAfter all the help and discounts we offer her I was hopping she will call me directly to let me know exactly what the problem was We create beautiful events for people.A wedding is the most important event in someone's life and we do our best to make them happy - In this case unfortunately we will not be able to refund her 50% down-payment- Sincerely, [redacted] www.stanmansion.com [redacted]

deposit was $1200 (50% of the venue fee). Few month later my bride decided to change the date of her wedding - from to October 20th 2013, to October 25 2014 (my job at the Mansion is to make everyone happy and I do understand sometimes people have problems)
AS PER OUR CONTRACT: "CLIENT MAY CHANGE THE DATE OF THE EVENT PROVIDED THAT THE NEW DATE IS WITHIN 12 MONTHS OF THE ORIGINAL DATE;YOU MUST NOTIFY STAN MANSION IN WRITHING AT LIST 120 DAYS BEFORE THE CHANGE.ONLY ONE DATE CHANGE IS ALLOWED;DATE CHANGE IS BASE ON AVAILABILITY RATE MY CHANGE.
THE INITIAL 50% DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE IF CLIENT CANCELS THE EVENT."
