Paid for two custom-made 4-Drawer Economy Model Comic Book Chests on [redacted] and have not received the chests.Paid for two 4-Drawer Economy Model Comic Book Chest via Paypal on [redacted] The price including shipping was [redacted] I was contacted by [redacted] on [redacted] via email in which he said he had started work, but it was slow going due to the inclement weather. I have not heard from him since. I have emailed him numerous times and received no response. I tried to call the telephone number listed on his website and could not get through to leave a message. We finally sent him a written message stating that he could either refund our money or complete the units. Again, no reply. We sent more messages in [redacted] He replied that he had taken a couple weeks of vacation and would start them soon. More time went by. Left him another message that if I didn't hear from him by [redacted] that we'd have no other option but seek restitution through other avenues.He still has not replied. I paid a year ago for an item that has still not been delivered and business has ignored any of my attempts at communication.I paid Stan Pike in the amount of $300 on Nov. 21st, 2013 for a custom order comic book storage drawer set. I followed up with him a few times over the year to check in. On my first attempt I was told that custom orders take time, which I understand. I had ordered from him in the past without any issues and was happy with what I got... this time, however, I've been getting the run around.On my attempt earlier this year, in May, I was told, "Sorry. I'm in the middle of moving my workshop to a new location. Needed more space and better heat. Got very behind due to the extra cold we had last winter. Yours will be the first done in my new shop. I had to re-do it because the other one didn't come out right. - S"Ok, fine. I have not heard from him since this note. I've tried multiple times to contact him over the past week using many different forms of communication (phone, email, Facebook) and he has failed to write me back. At this point I just asked for a refund. Taking someone's money and not delivering a year later is shady, especially when you combine that with a lack of response to messages.I'm highly disappointed in the way he's handled business, and now see I may not be the only one. Very let down. I paid for 2 custom 4 door cabinets in [redacted] 2013. In [redacted] 2014 I was promised they were coming soon. He said he would refund shipping [redacted] and ship the cabinets for free. I began trying to contact [redacted] by phone, email, and on facebook beginning in 2015. Order for cabinet placed and paid for on [redacted] 2015. [redacted] has generally been non-responsive to requests for updates for update or refund. Order placed on [redacted] for a record cabinet [redacted] after speaking with [redacted] on Etsy. After the order was placed, three emails requesting a status update were sent before a response was received estimating 2-3 more weeks before delivery. 10 additional weeks passed without delivery or further update. The last time I heard from [redacted] was at the end of [redacted]. I have sent four additional emails requesting an update and/or a refund since then, and left a voicemail as well. [redacted] is either a crook or completely incompetent. Either way, I want my money back.Desired SettlementI would like a refund of the entirety of my payment, or PROMPT delivery of my order.
