Standard Change-Makers Reviews (2)

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The lock was removed without any noticeIt would have been appropriate to leave a note that the "lock will be removed if we do not get the agreement"I mailed the first agreement they sent me few months agoIt is unfortunate that they did not receice it Regards, [redacted]

Our first notice of ownership change was December 2, The previous owner called and said he had sold the business in April The previous owner said he would have the new owner to contact usWe were contacted on December 6, by the new owner who at that time he paid for the previous months he had been using the lock (which was April - December 2013) using a credit cardNo further charges have been made on the new owner's charge card We explained at that time that in order to keep the equipment installed an agreement needed to be signed and returned to usThe new owner said he wanted to continue using the coin operated lock and would sign and return the agreementAn agreement with a pre-addressed return envelope was sent to him at that timeAll future invoices were stopped pending the return of the signed lease agreement We waited more than a month for the signed agreement to be returned to usWe never received itOn January 23, we sent a second agreement with envelope requesting that the new owner sign and returnBy February 27, we still had not received a signed agreement from the new owner, therefore the lock was removed from the premises, as we cannot leave our equipment installed permanently at any location without the security of a Lease AgreementAt the time of removal the lock had been previously deactivated by the user and there were no coins in the lock The new owner had called on March 4" and said if we do receive the signed agreement, please disregard it as he no longer wants the locksOn Friday March 7, we finally received a signed copy of the lease agreement that was post marked on March 3, (see attached copy) which is the Monday after the locks were removed If the new owner had called, as he stated, to inquire about a discounted rate, he did not identify himself or indicate that he was in any way connected with the account in questionWe often receive calls, without identification, from customers and prospective customers asking about pricing or other details regarding our equipment We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and are disappointed that this person did not feel that we had provided that to himHowever, if the new owner had simply signed and returned any of the multiple lease agreements that we had mailed to him in a timely fashion, this situation could have been avoidedFrom the time we were originally informed of the ownership change, we made multiple attempts to get a signed agreement over a month period with no success As we stated earlier and explained to the new owner, we cannot allow our equipment to remain installed without the security of a signed lease agreement The new owner had the use of our equipment for months and has only paid for of those monthsWe are willing to waive payment for those remaining unpaid months of use of our equipment
