Review: Asked and paid for (via check) a deep spring cleaning with a very specific list of items to be done. I sent the list ahead of time so they could give me a quote. They did, said it would take 6 hours, and would be $150.

The cleaning ladies came, worked 2 hours, did almost nothing on my specific request list, and left. They literally did less than half the job they were hired and paid to do. I do not have time to run around the house and check on the staff to ensure they are doing what they were hired to to. I expressed this to the owner.

Told her I stopped payment on original check of 150, and will send a check tomorrow for 75, which is the Exact amount I have always paid standard cleaning company the past two years each time they came to do a regular cleaning, which isn't even what I got today.

Areas of the house are untouched. And kitchen sink left and stopped up, full of little trash bits. Not a spring cleaning. Not even close.

I feel sending the standard $75 check to pay -- which I have paid Every Single other time in the past is fair. She ([redacted]) is threatening to take me to collections. Her staff did not do the job I hired them to do. They weren't here for the allotted time they were supposed to be and did less than half the job. I can give an entire picky list of things not done if you need it.Desired Settlement: I want [redacted] at Standard cleaning to accept the 75$ check, although the work done today was subpar at best. They Definatley did not earn the 150 she said a spring cleaning would be. I did not get a spring cleaning- they were here less time than they ever are even for a normal routine cleaning.

Review: On November, 14 2013 I contract Standard Cleaning to clean my 3 level townhouse. I noticed a few small spots and a large spot on my kitchen floor that are smooth to the touch and looks like stains created by a chemical. I contact the owner [redacted], and the customer service was very poor and unhelpful. She proceeded to blame me, created different versions of stories from me telling the cleaners to fold my clothes then changed it to me telling them to clean my refrigerator. I wasn't home from work until 4pm and when I arrived the cleaner was waiting downstairs for her ride. She was still in my basement waiting for her ride when I left at 5:45pm. I left her the key to lock up since I didn't want her to wait outside in the cold.

Basically, Standard Cleaning has been less than helpful in rectifying this situation. She claims it is paint, which it is not and she hasn't even come to the house to see the floors.

The house was mostly packed up, because I was relocating on that Saturday. I'm currently looking at getting an estimate for the repair of my floors. I have emails and text messages of our interactions. I paid $135 for the service.Desired Settlement: I would like the removal of the stains. It doesn't seem like it's something that can be wiped up. I've tried and my current tenant has tried. I would like some resolution on repairing the floors.

Review: House cleaners damaged three gray runner rugs with bleach stains. House cleaners also damaged two new gray towels with bleach stains. House cleaners damaged bookshelf, chipped brand new bookshelf. [redacted] - General Manager spoke to me in person but did not offer to replace the obviously damaged furniture. General manager [redacted], attempted to still charge me $25 for the cleaning. General manager [redacted], attempted to claim that I should not have had bleach under my counter. I believe its unreasonable to believe that this house cleaning service is incapable of properly cleaning a bathroom without resulting in collateral damage to property. I've cleaned my bathroom with bleach several times without ruining anything, especially rugs in an entirely different room. Bleach was tracked through the apartment resulting in bleach stains to three rugs.

I felt that it was inappropriate that [redacted] attempted to bargain the cleaning fee as a payment for the damage.Desired Settlement: I would like the damaged rugs, towels, and bookshelf replaced or I would like to receive the full price paid to replace the damaged furniture.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:

The property that was damaged during the cleaning service must be replaced. It is completely unreasonable for "Standard Cleaning" to try and leverage the cleaning charges to cover the damages. I am completely unsatisfied with the cleaning service provided. I should not have to pay for unsatisfactory cleaning service AND replace the property that was damaged by the cleaners. Standard cleaning did not earn $103 dollars for their cleaning service because I am unsatisfied with the cleaning, therefore Standard cleaning should replace my damaged property and I should not be charged for the cleaning.

The bookshelf was 100% free of damage the morning of the cleaning. I never place my bike against that particular bookshelf. My bike is place against the wall of the same room, two shelves over from the pictured shelf. I was present when [redacted] took the picture of the shelf. I also explained where I place the bike, and showed [redacted] that there is no damage to the shelf near the wall where I place my bike.

When [redacted] first came to my apartment to inspect the damage, she denied that any damage had occurred and had claimed that all of the damage had already been there. [redacted] had never been to my apt before, and no damage had ever been noted by standard cleaning in the previous two visits. The only images that [redacted] has, were taken in my presence after the cleaning service occurred.

I want the key to my apt mailed back to me asap.
