Review: Last Spring I contacted Mark P[redacted] with Standard Roofing about repairing three areas on my roof. I told him that I had the material and only needed labor for the repairs. We agreed on a cash price. All three areas were repaired. One area on the front of the house did not look proper. The shingle did not lay flat. Mr. P[redacted] stated it was due to the cold weather and would lay down over the Summer. As a Builder I knew this may be the case. I wrote Mr. P[redacted] a check. Mr. P[redacted] stated that he would warranty all of the repairs that he completed. This past fall I noticed the shingle had in fact not lain down properly in the Summer Heat. I contacted Mr. P[redacted] through his website and he called me back promptly. He stated he would ride by and take a look. After not hearing back from Mr. P[redacted] after a few weeks I again tried contacting him through his website. I have yet to receive a response. The shingle has now come loose.Desired Settlement: I would like them to honor their commitment and properly make the repair. I still have the material necessary to complete the job and would be happy to leave it outside.

In regards to [redacted] complaint, after speaking with [redacted] last fall, I sent my technician to his property to inspect the areas of his roof that Standard Roofing repaired. The area [redacted] was talking about was a different area than the repairs Standard Roofing performed and I informed him of this. The first time I met with [redacted], I explained to him that the shingles on his roof (which Standard Roofing did not install the original roof), were installed improperly. The laminated portion of the shingles will be a problem and shingles will continue to slide, because the shingles were not nailed correctly. I have attached a picture that was taken this morning (Tuesday, April 12, 2016) of the one shingle is he complaining about and it is below the area that Standard Roofing repaired last spring.
