Review: I filed maternity/disability papers as of Monday Jan. [redacted]. When I contacted [redacted] (owned by Standard Securities) they said I had to file the papers myself (when initially an employee of [redacted] said she would take care of that as soon as I contacted her that my baby was born). Meanwhile, [redacted] is not even in the system as a company that is listed in the [redacted]. That being said I have been given the run around and have been unable to file the papers properly. I want to report both Standard Securities and [redacted] for delaying my payment for disability (or even getting it at all).

Please be advised that I took the necessary steps prior to giving birth for this EXACT reason. I have never had a good experience with working as a contractor for [redacted] and have had to chase them down many times for contract extensions, paychecks and getting paid for sick days off. They have been nothing but unproductive as far as state and legal policies go and I should not have to chase them down when they are the company paying me.

[redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like to receive my disablity checks for the time lost in the negligence of filing the paperwork properly and telling me misinformation on such an important matter. Maternity leave should not be taken lightly and is considered a form of "disability." If that is the case this should have been addressed when I asked information the first time. I feel as though if I were hurt on/off the job with an injury things would be taken care of ASAP.

Review: I received a phony letter and check saying that I've been hired to participate in a mystery shopper program as a customer service evaluator so I did as instructed and went to my bank to deposit the check and the bank representative informed me of the bad check and warned me of this scam he's witnessed numerous times . He said that it was odd that an insurance company is willing to pay me to be a secret shopper and if which requires me to send 1400 before using any money retired to do my first evaluation . He also informed me that , that's how these scammers make a living leaving the participant in debt of the full amount that was given ,$1900 to be exact . Do people beware.Desired Settlement: These people need to be investigated and repay those who fell victim to their scam
