This smarmy, underhanded, sneaky, horrible credit, despicable collection agency ruined my 20 year old daughter's credit over $24.63. Yes, that is right. Twenty four dollars and sixty three cents. My daughter went to the emergency room on September 15th 2014 for severe dizziness and nausea. After five hours of waiting, the hopital took her pulse, gave her a Valium, a couple of Tums and sent her on her way. She is a college student and not only has a Health Net PPO that I pay for every month, but she also has a Health Insurance Policy through her school that is included with her tuition. So while the insurance carriers were negotiating whether or not they were primary and secondary or participatory in paying the claim, the hospital turned her over to Stanislaus Credit a control Service, Inc. The Health Net Policy did finally pay a portion of the bill that was over $2,000. We spent hours on the phone with both carriers trying to get the coverage Over a year later we were still waiting for the College policy to pay their portion and Health Net pay the rest. Once it was turned was turned over to Stanislaus, we decided to pay the balance in full of $472.47 over the telephone on October 13th 2015 to avoid having the debit reported to Experion, Transunion, and Equifax. We were told that the amount paid would cover the total amount due and the account would be closed. Fast forward to January 2015. My daughter receives a rude, threatening phone call from Stanislaus stating that she still owes $48.01 and that it has now been reported to the three credit agencies. The actual amount due was $24.63 and the interest was $23.38. Seriously? How can this be? We were told the account was closed in October and then surprise, several months later, there was an unpaid $24.63. And then the interest almost matches the balance due. Why on earth would we have paid all but $23.38 when we paid by credit card in full on October 15th? This practice is clearly unethical and according to my attorney, not legal. I understand that this is not a large amount of money, but know my daughter's credit is ruined. She is unable to rent an apartment, get a credit card, buy a car because of this one ding which drastically lowers her credit score.

Review: There is a $47 collection on my credit report. It only shows up on Equifax. It is affecting my credit rating. It just showed up one day for Calif. Physicians from 2013. I've never received a bill from anyone & I was not in California in 2013. I live in Oregon.Desired Settlement: Remove this collection from my credit report.

Review: The basis for my dispute is “ STANISLAUS CREDIT CNTRL[redacted], Owner” [redacted]

was required to notify me prior to 1/17/2011, or no later than 30 days after furnishing the negative

information to credit bureau reports, in writing...under such section 623, subsection (7)(A).

However, in my records I am unable to locate documentation you complied with this requirement,

which is a violation of the FCRA & FDCPA.

Also, STANISLAUS CREDIT CNTRL,[redacted], Owner failed to give me my "Mini-Miranda"

five days prior to placing this derogatory item on all of my credit reports, per Section 807(11) &

FDCPA 809, which is $1000 per violation and the state of TX allows treble damages.

Under 809. Validations of date and Mini-Mirandi under Section 807(1) STANISLAUS CREDIT

CNTRL,[redacted], Owner failed to send me my initial communication before placing this

alleged item on my credit reports further violating the FCRA, with $1000 per violation.

STANISLAUS CREDIT CNTRL,[redacted], Owner is held liable as well for defamation and in

the state ofTX a creditor is who collects their on debt is considered a debt collector under TDCPA.

S.W.2d 654(Tex.App-Dallas 1996 writ dism'd w.o.j.)Desired Settlement: I will if the account is not taken back and removed from any and all credit bureau reports, I will turn this over to [redacted] FDCPA and FCRA national Attorney to look and take over this complaint.

Therefore, provide me documentation of notification (i.e. a copy of the notification sent), and proof

that it was delivered to me in a timely manner (i.e. a dated certified mail delivery confirmation with

my signature).. 30 days before or 30 days after ( 1/17/2011) the date it was opened with the

Review: I have an outstanding medical bill that I have been trying to pay for the last year. It has done nothing but hurt my credit score, and I have made numerous attempts to contact this business to resolve the issue. The company never returns my phone calls, emails, or makes any sort of contact with me. I'm trying to build my credit score, and it is impossible to do it if this company will not let me pay this bill.Desired Settlement: This bill dramatically lowered my credit score and I have had to deal with the repercussions since. I would like this issue to be resolved so that I can finally start repairing the damage it did to my credit.

Review: This company is a debt collection service. Even after they collected less than $125.00 dollars in debt from me they still won't remove the derogatory reporting from my credit. I've called numerous times and emailed the company as well. I find it ironic that when they were trying to collect the debt from there was an open the line of communication but once the debt was paid nothing. They pass you around their phone system until you get a voice mail and then do nothing with the information I left on it. They don't realize what kind of effect this has on peoples lives even though the debt was less than $125. I'm sure the Dr. who didn't get paid his $125 for crappy dental work can't even feed his family anymore. This is the only recourse I have against this company. I will also file a negative report on Yelp but it will never change the way these vultures do business.Desired Settlement: I would like Stanislaus to follow through and live up to their end of the deal we made. I would also like for them to disclose to any future customers who "think" their issue is resolved to receive some kind of receipt showing that this company has fulfilled their moral obligation and do what they say their going to do.

Review: I had prior authorization from my insurance company for all services of this particular procedure. After speaking with Dr. [redacted]'s office about this matter, I was told even though Dr. [redacted] accepted the payment from my insurance, he was not willing to abide by it and I was responsible for the balance. I checked with my insurance and they stated that once a participant accepts a payment from them, it means to them that it is acceptable payment for the whole thing. My copy of the Explanation of Benefits from my insurance for Dr. [redacted]'s 03/03/14 services states that they have negotiated with his office for $247.56 (paid on 09/10/14) of the original $850.00 bill and my responsibility is $0. It's my understanding is that all other participants billed for this surgery have been finalized without any trouble.Desired Settlement: On march 12th, I spoke with [redacted] at the Stanislaus Credit Control Service about this being referred to their office and she suggested I should offer to pay something on this. I do not have the means to pay these charges, but I have offered to pay $300.00 as a show of good faith and as of yet have heard nothing. I really find this whole thing very unsetting that I did the required steps for approval before the procedure was done & stuff like this happens and the Doctor sent it to collections. It's no wonder our whole health care system is in trouble. I appreciate your consideration on this matter.

Review: I do not know them. I have never received a bill from them. They are on my credit report. For more than a year I have been leaving messages. Are they even in business? How can I resolve this, or get it off my credit if they will never answer anything. Any help would be appreciated.Desired Settlement: I don't owe them anything proof other wise would get it resolved. I have recently been going over my credit report and this company is trying to have me pay for bills covered by insurance and an additional 8% in interest. I asked for a detailed bill and received a letter with just balances that do not add up .

They put me under collection without even bothering to send me a bill or even a notification that I was going to be put in collection.

That is not only illegal but also immoral and shows a lack of interest on EVEN SENDING A BILL.

I've left 3 Vicksburg over 1 1/2 weeks and no call back. Also I have yet to talk to an actual person. Both numbers go straight to voicemail.

Review: I have contacted this company on numerous times to resolve a debt that was the responsibility of a 3rd party. On 2/9/2015, I broke my nose at University and this bill was sent to them for payment. A year later, I received threatening letters from Stanislaus Credit demanding payment. I had my mother call over 30 times to a "[redacted]" at ext. [redacted] and NEVER received any response for months. In november 2015, Stanislaus added this debt to my PERFECT credit and when my mother finally did some research and found a different number for the company, she spoke to a woman named [redacted]. She called me on my cell to verify that my mother was authorized to handle this. [redacted] was very nice to my mother and said to call her back as soon as the University had paid the bill and she would take it off my credit which would take aprox. 72 hours. My mother called today to [redacted] to inform them that the school should have paid by now and the girl who answered the phone said [redacted] wasn't in today and that she could help. My mother told her the situation and the lady said that she was not authorized except for that one phone call to talk on my behalf! She informed her that [redacted] stated that she could call and infact TO call when the bill was paid. The girl then transferred my mother to a voicemail of non other than [redacted] who NEVER CALLS BACK. So my mother called again and the rude girl told my mother again that she was not authorized and that [redacted] couldn't do that again. I WANT THIS OFF OF MY CREDIT REPORT!!!! THIS WAS A "UNIVERSITY INSURANCE COVERED INCIDENT" and was never my responsibility! I have given them the Schools information and the party who is responsible for payment, but they have now affected my credit and won't help me fix it. Please get this resolved immediately!Desired Settlement: I want this taken off of my credit report completely and for [redacted] to contact my mother [redacted] at [redacted] to verify that it has been done.

I had moved so a bill that I didn't know about took a while to catch up to me, and when it did it was because it was sent to collections. This collection agency is in charge of my case, I have been continuously trying to reach somebody, anybody from this agency so I can pay this bill... Nobody is ever available, it always goes to voicemail, and then when someone does return a call it's way after hours. Poor business model. All I want to do is pay this debt, and they make it impossible.

Review: I made payment arrangements with this company and made my first payment accordingly. However, Stanislaus has added interest to my account and did not mail me a letter in which it is stipulated that an account in collections will accumulate interest and to what percent. In addition, the company failed to mail me a receipt stating that I made my first payment of $10.00 with a credit card. Moreover, my phone calls are never returned eventhough I leave detailed voice messages with my contact information whenever I have attempted to communicate.Desired Settlement: I kindly request that I have all interest removed from my account, and that a detailed receipt with my payment information is mailed to me.
