Review: On may 2012 I contract [redacted] to repair a leak on my roof, I paid him $450.00 with the check # [redacted] and this repair was never right because the leak continue and now is very bad, after multiple calls he said the he don't do roofing and he send some other person, this person said the leak is different from the original and want another $500.00 to fix it. But I find this person was the same person the mr Stanley send the first time and the never fix the leak. I will need [redacted] to fix the leak the I pay for or refund my money.Desired Settlement: I will like [redacted] to send an honest person to fix this leak or refund my money.

On or about May 4, 2012, I was contacted by [redacted] about a leak in his roof. I explained I would send someone out to take a look at it. I subcontracted this repair to a roofer I use [redacted] when I receive calls for roofing. [redacted] made this repair and I was paid by [redacted]. To my knowledge and going back over my phone records, I did not receive another call from [redacted] until September, 2013. This was 16 months after the original repair was done. The construction standard warranty period is one year on workmanship. As we had an unusually wet summer, I did not hear from this customer until September, 2013. Even though it had been well over one year since the original repair was done, [redacted] went back out there Oct. 14, 2013. He informed the customer that some additional work needed to be done at this time. However, since receiving this complaint, in a good faith effort, [redacted] went back out to [redacted] home and caulked some areas that looked like a possible problem at no charge.

[redacted] has been roofing for 40 years and has been doing repairs for us with no other complaints. [redacted] did say the customer's roof has very little pitch and he would have never applied shingles to that roof. He feels the roof needs replacing at this time.

I have been in business for 20 years and as your records will show, I have never had a complaint filed against me in the past. I would like this complaint removed from my record, as I feel this work was performed adequately.
