Price for cleaning and deodorizing given on phone and actual price for same service on site was hugely higher
Was given a price by call agent of $101.66 for cleaning and deodorizing of a Persian rug 8x9.5, when techs arrived they informed that the price would be $90.00 more due to the fact that I was not quoted with the "Super Shield" excluded. I then said if they could not provide the service I was quoted they should leave due to the fact that I felt I was being victimized. I then called the call agent back and expressed my displeasure, at this time I was told I was never quoted a price for the cleaning, which is why I made my initial call. Why else would I have had Made an appointment.
A resolve to this bad experience is to have Stanley Steemer quite their fraudulent practices of quoting none existent prices. Training in the call center area should be mandatory. I have and now will never recommend or call Stanley Steemer

Due to a error in our pricing system, the call center agents were not able to add cleaning costs to the work order. After we had become aware of the pricing issue we promptly called the customer and apologized for the inconvenience. We then offered to come out and clean the area rug at no charge,which she accepted and is now satisfied.The pricing error has now been fixed.
