Did not make payoff on my trade in and ruin my wife and mine credit
Me and my wife traded a 2017 2wd truck for a 2018 4wd truck. The deal was for the dealership to payoff my truck and of course for me to pay for the 2018. I had the money to make a payment on the 2017 and the salesman said just give us the payment for a down payment which we did. Everybody was happy. *** the finance company sent us a notice that we were behind a payment. I made a trip to dealership and they said the paperwork was done wrong and the new finance sent it back to be redone. I was promised that the problem would be taken care of. After another late notice and a notice from Credit Department. That our credit is now bad bad bad. Truck payoff is as now 66 days late. Our credit is now destroyed because of this dealership. What next

Desired Outcome

I am sorry is not good enough. We didn't know a thing until we went to purchase a boat and was turn down because of late payment to ***. Very bad business They should paid my new truck off and I can get a lawyer for the embarrassment and humiliation and inconvenience for this issue. I am sorry will not fix my problems

This deal appears to have happened 1 year ago and we can not see the credit file. The store is also under new ownership as of the January. Please feel free to have the customer contact the store and ask for the General Manager as I would be happy to assist in any way.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This only happen First contract was 11-26-2018. The Second contract was 12-27-2018. Less than 30 days ago. The truck payoff was not received until January 9th of 2019. Meaning December 1 2018 and January 1 2019 payments were late. Which shows on credit report past due 2 months which has resulted in my credit score dropping 153 points and my wife dropping 119 points. This is unacceptable. Wayne and Gloria A. They know who we are. Thanks

I have offered the customer to call the store and speak with the General Manager. We are more than happy to look into this.

Company tried to cheat us on what we ordered, did not give correct information for sale, pushed another unwanted program, gave us wrong tag type.
When my husband and I went to buy a new truck we gave 2 specific requirements needed for the truck.First a puc system hitch, and second built in navigation. The salesman wrote these down. When paperwork was done we we also told them we needed a 25k WEIGHTED tag. Nothing my husband signed had the weight on it. Now, the first issue, we paid an extra 2k for the hitch that we wanted, when we called to schedule ti have it installed, we were told that it was a different type hitch that was @ $500 less than we paid. This is Unacceptable. We managed to get the correct PUC system hitch and all straighten out.. The BUILT-IN navigation that we told that we wanted they said wld have to be downliaded and wld cost @$500 and they kept pushing this auto android that is tied in w *** maps thru my phone. Told them we wld try but wanted nav in truck. They pushed the other. I called *** myself 4 days later to have it done myself and was told our radio is not supported for navigation. Now we know why they pushed the other. The auto android messes up my phone and now we have to buy a *** that is going to cost us @200 for the one we need. Last when we got our tag, it was for 28k COMMERIAL tag. We are not commercial. Our truck is a personal vehical. To straighten it out we had to pay almost $600 2 months early for property taxes to get a new WEIGHTED tag. We were told then that we paid a a difference of $60 because of Chrysler doing this. We went to to talk to them and ask for the reimbursment. Thee Sales manager blames us for the hitch the ordered and said we should call it even since they had to "eat the 399 cost" of the wrong hitch they tried to cheat us on that we had already paid 2k for. He said there was no difference in price which there is.. 506 to 560. This is not acceptable and honest practices. Now I know the meaning of "Slick as a car salesman"

Desired Outcome

We would like what we asked and paid for. The puc hitch system was resolved... I do not know how they can resolve the built in navigation the we told them was required and was told we could get. We have to by a *** that is between 229 and 299 to come close to what the built in navigation would be and what we are used to. We would like what we are entitled to without them trying to blame us for their mistakes.

There was some confusion with the purchase of this vehicle. Every vehicle purchased has a we owe setup so it is clear what the store is paying and what is expected from both the customer and the store. We agreed to put a fifth wheel hitch on the truck at a cost of $1750. This was part of the deal when the vehicle was purchased. The customer went to the hitch installer and decided that they would like two different types of hitch installed on the truck. The store agreed to install both hitches and pay the additional $900 to satisfy the customer. The vehicle was setup with a 28K weight rating this was agreed on and signed off by the customer in the original deal. The customer later informed us that they wanted the 25K weight rating instead to keep them under the commercial tax rate. The customer paid the $40 fee to have this corrected at the DMV. Customer also did not want to pay the property tax on the vehicle but there is nothing we can do about the taxes that the state charges on the vehicle. Customer also came back after the deal was completed and requested that we add navigation to the vehicle at no charge. This was not setup and agreed upon in the original deal. The truck has navigation but it requires that you connect your phone to the truck for the navigation to appear on the screen. We have done our best to help the customer and resolve the issues. We have spent $900 to resolve issues that were not listed in the original deal but the customer keeps requesting additional items be added. We have been in contact with the customer and most of the issues have been resolved at this time.

There were no miscommunications on our part. We told the salesman exactly what we wanted when we walked through the door and stressed on it the whole time during the sell and spelled it out for him on the puc hitch system. We were told that they added $2000 to the sell of the truck to cover the hitch. It was the dealer trying to get one over on us by putting in a cheaper system. This issue was resolved.. but only by us catching it and them lying about it.
we told them we had to have navigation in the truck...they kept pushing the auto android that goes through my phone. We told them we would try it but if it did not work we needed the navigation downloaded. They said they could do it for 500. The truck is not capable of handling navigation. It needs a new radio system. It messes up my phone. This issue is not resolved. The weight of the tag was told during the signing that we only wanted a 25k weight tag. The dealer took it upon themselves to up the tag. We are not a commercial vehical and do not need a commercial tag. There has been no miscommunications. And we do not appreciate the dealer trying to say we are trying to keep getting things after the sell. All issues have not been resolved and we just made our first truck payment today on a vehicle that we are not happy with thanks to a unorthodox dealer.

Document Attached***
I have attached a copy of the we owe document which clearly states exactly what is owed to the customer at the time of sale. The purpose for the we owe document is to make it clear to both parties exactly what is owed. The customer signed the document stating that the store only owed them a fifth wheel hitch for the new vehicle. When the customer took the truck to the installer the customer requested both a gooseneck ball hitch and a fifth wheel hitch be installed. The second hitch was not listed on the we owe document and the store had to pay the additional $550 for the second hitch to be installed. Out of good will the store did not make the customer pay for the second hitch. There is nothing else listed on the we owe and nothing else owed to the customer. Again we apologize for any confusion on this matter.

In May I took my 2011 Dodge Charger to Stanly County Dodge Dealership to have a diagnostic test done for my water system because the car was running hot. The service department call me to let me know that it was my thermostat and that my tire sensor was bad also. I told him that I had change my thermostat twice before bring it to them, so he said he will call me back he was going to talk to the mechanic. When he called back he then indicated that it was also my radiator. I ask if the repairs would stop my car from running hot he told me "yes". I went on June 6 2018 and paid $970.28 the get my vehicle out the shop. I drove my car to a family members house which is about 25 miles from the dealership and my vehicle had ran hot again. I called to dealership and told them what had happen they came and towed the car back to the dealership. I called about 2 hours later and the service department told my that they where doing another diagnostic test on my vehicle to see what the problem was and he would call me back when they found out anything. Some days went by and I called the dealership because no one had got in contact when me to see what had happen. The mechanic then tells me that he was checking for the prices on head gasket. I then replied by letting him know that I was not going to pay anymore money for repair that I had already paid on to get fix. He told me that I would have had replace the two items anyway with the blown head gasket and water in my oil. I went to the dealership a week later to pick up my vehicle and brought it back home. I had a local mechanic to come to my house and he indicated that I do not have water in my oil

Desired Outcome

Repair My car to be fix

Ms *** brought her vehicle to the shop with a overheating problem. The vehicle had been overheated several times and another shop had been unsuccessful in repairing the vehicle. The vehicle was low on coolant and the radiator was leaking. We replaced the damaged radiator, pressure tested the engine and road tested the vehicle. The external leaks on the vehicle were fixed and the vehicle appeared to be holding coolant and running fine. We returned the car to the customer. Customer drove the car and called to complain about it running hot. We told the customer not to drive the vehicle and we towed it back to the shop. We pressure tested the vehicle cooling system and determined that the engine had a head gasket leaking. The head gasket did not leak when it was cold only when the engine was running. The head gasket will need to be replaced to fix the overheating problem. The customer ask that we replace the head gasket for free but we told her that this was not a option. Customer did not want to complete the repair and took the vehicle to another shop.

PpurchaseGPS installation has not been successful in the 2018 Jeep compass we purchased. 5 attempts in 45 days.
Uunsuccessful attempts to install the GPS navigation system that we purchased for $595.

Desired Outcome

Purchased a 2018 Jeep Compass on 10/31/17. On the purchase date we paid an additional $ 595 to have GPS navigation installed. We were informed it would take 15 minutes and be operational when we drove away. The installation was not successful and we were told the dealership would contact us when they could complete it. A week later had not heard from them. Stopped in and they set up an appointment for the following day to install. Again the installation was not successful. To date there has been 3 more attempts to install. All unsuccessful. It has now been 45 daysanbdd still no GPS. Dealership does not keep us updated and they do not return calls.
