In regards to Mr***'s complaint we have to politely disagreeMr*** brought is *** in with an obvious radiator leakWe quoted a price and nearly two months later he returned for the repairI assumed the vehicle was not driven during such time as it would ensue engine damageWe
discovered that Mr*** had sabotaged his vehicle by putting a "stop leak" additiveSuch a substance contaminates the entire cooling systemOnce discovered I alerted Mr*** that now in addition to the radiator, the entire cooling system would have to be flushed, the thermostat, cooling lines, radiator cooler, power steering cooler, and the A/C system would have to be disconnected and drained in the processHe asked how much? Before I could answer he replied another $500-800...to which I replied that we a good guess, but I would like to get the parts in and give him a near exact estimate including taxI promised to call the next dayThe next day we received some parts from the dealer in errorI called Mr*** and explained that the correct ones would be in the following day and we would have his estimateThe next day we got enough of the parts where I could get my arms around the situationI called and gave an exact price including sales taxFor the second time I explained that the A/C system would be drained and we did not do said serviceI explained we could make arrangements for the service and it was not included in my estimateMr*** replied HE had a guyWe finished the job by the weeks end, only having to add one heating hose for $I called Mr*** and he indicated he would pick it up in a day or soOne day shy of a week he picked it upFive minutes later he called and said his A/C was not workingFor the third time I explained that he had to have it chargedHe returned a few hours later with a $bill from another garage stating he needed an A/C chargeAt this point I couldn't fathom the confusionFor the fourth time I explained the whole procedureReminding him he passed on us having the A/C chargedHe stated it "worked perfectly before." Clearly he did not grasp the concept. In Mr***'s complaint he states he did not receive a priceFalseHe stated he called and questioned the work(unless asking why the A/C didn't work for the third time is what he meant)Finally he stated "I have nothing to show for it but a leaky, hot vehicle." Again falseHad Mr*** not added a stop leak to his *** a lot could have been avoided. We will be taking Mr*** to court as he stopped payment on his check that same dayMy only regret is that I did not just include the A/C charge in my estimate and not allow him to service the vehicle himselfCommunication is a two way street, but to say that there was a misunderstanding is an understatementI could not have been more clear, over and over again

Mr. [redacted] claims his check was cashed. However, we have the returned stop payment. It is now my opinion that he planned this tact from the start. His falsehood is now in black and white. We shall proceed with the legal process through the court system.
