Review: My friend live in the apartments and I really like them, so I decided to apply. I came in on August 7 2014 to fill out paper work and to give money to hold and apartment. Before I applied I ask the leasing office several question because this would determine if I want to live in this neighborhood. The first question was I can I have a second floor apartment and the second question was I don't want to live at the bottom of the hill.Ruth C[redacted] and other lady said we can give you a two bedroom with a balcony for 950.00. After several weeks of filling out paperwork, the finally called and said I was approved for the apartment. Ruth told me to bring in my $600 deposit ASAP so I they can hold the apartment. I went and bought a money order and set a Date of August 14 to move in. Several day before it was time to move in I call and call to make sure that everything was still on track. Ruth left a message that night on my phone giving me the address of 3080 Stanton road apt 204. So I called the cable company, Pepco and Washington gas to have everything ready on August 14. On August 13 when I came to do the walk thru she took me to apt 102 on the bottom floor. I let her listen to the message and she was like this is what I have available and don't want you to miss out on this because the other apartment is not ready. Today is August 16 and have not heard from the apartment complex. Every time I call the would say I will call you back. I'm homeless at this point and still have not heard from this office. I keep playing phone tag with the Property Managment Mrs R[redacted]. She has been rude and not helpful at all. She promise to call everyday and I never hear anything from her.Desired Settlement: I would like my deposit back
