The paint peeled off in our wash process, because it it was defectivePaint should never peel off periodThere was no negligence on our part and nothing impacted the vehicle, we just washed the carI suggested that she go to Honda and have them look at itIf the paint is original they should cover the costThe Civic should still have the original paint warranty in effectI think that the paint warranty goes for yearsWhen I inspected the vehicle myself and confirmed the paint was peeling to such an extent that it could be peeled off in a sheet by handThis is not in any way the fault of the car washWe wash hundreds of cars a day with no problemsHowever, a few times a year this comes up because of defective paint, which we can not controlit does take a certain amount of friction to wash a carAny car wash would do the same thing She can go to any good body shop and they will say the same thingSo we will take no liability for this issue Bill

Dear *** ***:I have received your letter regarding Ms*** Vehicle ScratchesFirst I would like to say that we take a pride in what we do and diligently tryto resolve any issues that occur at Star Car WashWe wash over 45k cars a year and have never had an issue of scratching
carsWhen Ms*** cameback and claimed we scratched her car, l inspected her car and was nice and polite trying to explain to her what might have happened but, not hereat the car wast was very small scratches likely caused by something else other than car wash but she insisted that the person who had wipedher car had small rocks in their towelIf there was a rock in the towel it would have been deep scratches in a circular motionRegarding her carnot being clean it is a misunderstanding of our scope of a full service car wash done in min vsa detail that costs over $and takes - hours.We believe Ms*** claims have no merit, however to try and keep her as a happy customer we would like to offer her the chance to come back andreceive a free car wash on us.Sincerely,Simon *** Star Car Wash
