Not the friendliest interaction during my phone call I was interested in a particular car they had listed for $more than the [redacted] value I told the guy that it would be hard to justify purchasing a car that costs $more than it's actual value, and he said that if I didn't like, then don't consider it True enough, but not a very customer friendly response There are many more professional car dealers out there

I agreed upon a price and a down payment to buy a car after I sold my car to buy the new car the dealer sold the vehicle to some one else after I agreed to buy the car

I told the guy that it would be hard to justify purchasing a car that costs $1600 more than it's actual value, and he said that if I didn't like, then don't consider it. True enough, but not a very customer friendly response. There are many more professional car dealers out there.

Review: I purchased a [redacted] around July 26, 2013. Upon purchasing I told them the blinker indicator was not working. They said it's just a bulb. Within a day or so the speedometer, and all indicator lights worked intermittently as well as the radio. I called. They said they would fix it. I took it in, they did not give me any paperwork after this. It happened again within 2 days. I called and took it in again and asked for paper work stating what had been done. They again did not give it to me. This happened again and they said they replaced the speedometer but again the same thing happened. I took it for the 4th time and after picking up the same thing happened again. Since then I have called and left messages and my calls have not been returned. I have taken the car in for repair for a total of 4 times with them having the car for 6 days total and nothing has been fixed nor have I ever received any paper work. I believe the car has major electrical problems and am also not so sure the odometer reading was correct when purchased. Who is to say the speedometer is broken because the mileage was turned back (not necessarily by the dealer). It had 69,000 and some hundred miles on purchase. The car is in my name but my 17 year old daughter put $[redacted] cash down and has made 2 car payments of approximately $[redacted]. She needs a car to get back and forth to school and work. Every time I have taken it in I have had to borrow a car to use which was not always available when needed, had to wait for the car to be available and then find a time convenient for the dealer to bring back the car.I had in back twice in September and twice in August. Unsure of exact dates due to dealer not providing any paper work but I can supply a copy of the note of the note I left the 2nd time I took it in. It is unsafe for her not to have a working speedometer and I feel like I am being given the run around.Desired Settlement: I would like the dealer to reimburse my daughter for the down payment in cash and pay off the outstanding balance on the loan to me so I know the loan will be paid. I am not asking for the car payments back because she has driven it for 2 months. I need this done so we can get another car that has all working parts. Thank you

Review: I bought a used [redacted] with 77,289 miles from Stars Cars on July 26,2013. They gave me a 3 months Warranty with the car through [redacted] out of Wilkes Barre, PA. The steering felt loose when I test drove it. [redacted] said" I wasn't use to the steering after having [redacted]. I was still not happy with the steering after purchasing it. I took it to [redacted] approved garage. Which was [redacted] Automotive in Manasas, Va. Clarks found the car need brake pads, rotors worked on, both lower ball joints, sub- frame bushing,rear struts,rear coil springs broken,sway bar needs work.[redacted] will fix both lower ball joints, and the rear coil springs. I have pay to have the other parts fixed before [redacted] will fix the other two parts. I called and talked to [redacted] (who sold the car to me) and asked if I could have the warranty upgraded so everything could be fixed. His reply " What do you expect for the price you paid for the car". I told him "It's not about the price but the safety of the vehicle." They failed to give me a pink state inspection sticker. It's my understanding that these parts should've been checked in the state inspection in July.Desired Settlement: I would like the car repaired completely at Star Cars expense.
