Good Afternoon.This letter is in reply to the customer who has complained earlier this summer as well as recently: because she misinterpreted our movie schedule between 2D and 3D showtimes at our movie theatre located at *** *** *** in StaytonOregon,
the Star Cinema.We have a single screen that we share with the 2D version and 3D version, so some customers don't understand the difference between reading which showtimes are for whichI've tried different ways to make it clear on our website and feel each time it is easily understood.Also, when you have say people show up for the scheduled movie showtime and people show up and complain that the showtimes were wrong, the majority proves that the people were confused.This most recent time I highlighted the 3D showtimes in Red.And nowlast week, we had issues with our 3D equipment during our first 3D showtime of the movie "The Martian"We had to send people home with refunds Sothat evening we had to change the 3D showtimes to 2D showtimes until we figured out what the problem wasI made a statement on our Facebook site to let evervone know."For some reason yet to be determined, the 3D showing at the Star Cinema was a bit fuzzyUntil I have time to troubleshoot, ALL showtimes are 2D until further noticeSorry for those that wanted to experience it in 3DThe Fox Theatre is working fine."tried to explain this to the customer, but she refused to accept it.We also have a legal statement on the bottom of our websites"MoviesDates and Showtimes Subject To Change."We have this in place mainly due to the movie studio's have confirmed movies and dates, then at the last minute have changed, and we have to scramble and change our website's and newspaper adverstising.We have been in business since and people love us and our businessesEmails and Facebook comments prove this.She is just a very negative person that won't accept that things happen that are out of our control.
