This customer had placed a order with a vendor of Star Deliveries for a home office 2 piece group. Star Delivery received the merchandise on 8/8/2016. Our sop with this vendor is to offer white glove delivery within 4-6 weeks to this state. We...

are located in NC, customer is in TX. We offered the customer delivery on 9/1/2016 late afternoon between the hours of 5-8 pm. This is USUALLY a desired time so the customer does not have to miss any work. This customer started to explain she started a new job and must have a Saturday only delivery. Our truck is traveling a 3500 mile route and at the time of the phone call the trip was routed. There are aprox. 45 customers on a single truck getting delivery over the course of 7 days. These stops are routed in a specific order to make the trip most efficient for the company with fuel and the driver with time. Unfortunately there is very little flexibility to change deliveries and delay her stop 2 full days until 9/4/2016 as requested. The customer is complaining about a service she hasn't even received yet. The product will be transferred to another carrier of her choice or the vendor at no charge. We have been in business 15 years this Oct. with over 115,000 satisfied customers and this being our 3rd or 4th Revdex.com complaint to date. We consider this matter closed and will not respond to any further actions. Thank You

When they called the second time, they DID NOT offer me 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. He told me that the truck would be probably be coming prior to that time, and basically, that they could not guarantee me ANY TIME except sometime during that day!
The man I spoke with was very curt, and said that "somebody had to be home to except the" goods.
The prior caller (the initial phone conversation), a woman, did offer me that option!
I explained to both of these individuals that I live in Houston, TX where traffic is unbelievably bad from 5:00 on. I stated that if I was working on that day, then I might not even make it home in time for the delivery.

The [redacted] received all furniture paid for without any kind of damage with the exception of a table base that was missing on the order. The [redacted] were then offered delivery on 2 more occasions immediately after the first delivery on or about...

11/30/2015. Star delivery was then instructed to ups directly to the store on 12/23/15 .We did as instructed from the store and due to holidays, delivery lead times vary in trucking, even with UPS.The items were picked up on 12/28/15 from our terminal by ups tracking#[redacted] & [redacted]. A associate from the store purchased, could then drive to the customer, at a convenient time for her delivery of a table base when our two more attempts would not fit the [redacted] schedule. As also stated in the [redacted] statement, this is not their normal residence , but only a vacation home. Star Delivery absorbed the cost of over 20% of the [redacted] freight charge just to ups the items to the store. Star Delivery has went well beyond the normal procedures to try to accommodate this customer. Just as the [redacted] indicated in there last statement all items have been delivered there and are complete now. In over 13 years of business, over 110,000 satisfied customers to date, we have encountered just 4 Revdex.com complaints to date, to our knowledge. At this time we consider this complaint void, and closed and no further responses will be offered or any more resolutions to this closed matter. Thank You

We paid Star Delivery to deliver our complete order of furniture. Since Star Delivery Company did not deliver our complete order of furniture, we believe that the company should not take our money for furniture that it did not deliver. For this reason, we should receive a refund of $155.00 for the furniture that this company did not deliver. The fact that this company had to send our furniture to New York so that someone from New York could then drive 10 hours to Delaware to deliver our furniture speaks to the uncooperativeness of this company. Star Delivery Company took our money to deliver our furniture, and in the response, admit that the company did not follow through. Star Delivery (Charlie) failed to say that it offered a refund but then retracted it. The company failed to say that it knew in advance that the two offers of delivery would be unacceptable and inconvenient times -- late at night on the Christmas holiday. The company failed to say that its owners were so nasty and abusive to both me and the furniture company, explaining why the furniture ended up being shipped to New York. Neither the furniture company nor I could work with the owners of Star Delivery Company. We do not accept the company's response and are seeking a $155.00 refund for the furniture that Star Delivery did not deliver. Thank you.
