Review: Star Federal promised to send warm leads for people that Star Federal had talked to that were interested in purchasing or selling a home as well as appointment setting. The contract stated that Star Federal was to generate a minimum of 50 appointments or that the member will close at least 1 transaction from their leads. I did not receive 50 leads nor had the opportunity to close 1 transaction.Desired Settlement: I want my money refunded in amount of $995.

Review: [redacted] originally contacted me in early March 2013 to provide leads services for real estate. He contacted me originally via email. He promised a guaranteed minimum of 25 leads per year. After going back and fourth and him continuing to promise so much business leads and success I finally contracted with him for his services on 3/*/2013. I paid via paypal on 3/*/2013. After that date I did not hear from him again. I then reached out to contact him by email on 4/**/2013; which was roughly 6 weeks later. I asked why I had not received any leads yet. He said that they had to set up a campaign and get it running. It is now 6/**/2013; which is just about 14 WEEKS/ THREE AND A HALF MONTHS later and I have not heard another word. I have not received 1 single buyer or seller client lead. I am located in[redacted]; which is in the TOP 5 real estate markets in the country. There is no possible way that if he actually set up a marketing campaign to be able to provide me leads that he has not been able to provide 1 lead per our contract. There are other agents that have complained publicly online on review websites. [redacted] and Star Federal are taking real estate agent's hard earned money under the pretense of FALSE ADVERTISING OF THEIR SERVICES, and FALES PROMISES. The license of their business needs to be revoked or suspended to prevent other agents from falling victim to their scam. This is very serious and I have also filed a complaint with the State of New York where Star Federal's business address is listed.Desired Settlement: This business should also have their license revoked or suspended due to unethical business practices and fraudulent offering of services. There are many agents also posting that they were scammed by this company through online review services, and this can not continue so that more agents fall victim.

At this time, I have not been contacted by Star Federal, Inc. regarding complaint ID [redacted]. Also, I have received the attached response from the State of Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation. It states that the license number that was provided to me on the contract has in fact been in active! I am now considering contacting the police to report fraud. If this is happening to agents across the U.S. [redacted] and Star Federal must be stopped.
