I was originally skeptical, but the team at Star Financial really came through for us!!! The Branch Manager ***, was very helpful and so was our loan officer and processorI would definitely recommend Star financial - [redacted] *

In regards to this complaint I will look into it but an appraisal on a property is required of all consumers who are doing a potential refinance on a property These costs are out of pocket costs I will however check and see what was the problem or if there was a debt to income ratio which did not qualify for the investment property I do care about every consumer that applies for a loan However, if they do not qualify or if there is an appraisal issue which could be that the independent appraisal ordered did not come in at the value in order to do an investment property Thanks!! I will take a look at the file to see if there is anything that we can do to help the consumer Thanks!

[redacted] this is the first I have heard of this complaint from the consumer [redacted] is a very ethical Loan Officer My instinct is that the borrower did not qualify When a borrower submits an application and we are the lender we underwrite to make sure it is salable in the secondary market and that the borrower qualifies based on their income documentation and our appraisal did not come in at value I see that he would like which is probably the cost of the appraisal We as a lender cannot guarantee when a borrower submits a loan application if they qualify We in fact try to help the borrower but if they do not qualify for the loan than we cannot do it If the consumer would like to give me a call I would be more than happy to speak to them since I care about everyone that applies for a loan As you know we have always been A+ rated

*** if you look at the HUD of the transaction that we did close we gave the consumer a lender credit which was because we could not do the other transaction so in the lender credit that is more than a that the consumer is asking for. Again, the reason we gave such a huge credit was because we could not do the other loan and in that lender credit included the cost of the appraisal fee of the transaction we could not do. *** we gave him a larger credit of as you can see. The Lender credit is on line of the HUD 1. We because of the situation gave him a larger credit.
St Fin Corp gave him more than the appraisal fee that he asked for and would like to consider this matter closed. Please let me know that you received this and if you have any question please do not hesitate to give me a call. Thanks!!!

I worked with a gentleman called Brian SHe helped me refinance my home twice, first they did a year and then I wanted a year so they helped me out with that (then 2015)The company is legit and don't ask for nearly as much paperwork as big banks and quicken loansThey are straight to the point and close fastThe first time I refinanced my credit score wasn't great and while no other companies qualified me to refinance, Star Financial didIf I ever needed to refinance again I know I can count on Brian S and Star Financial for a positive experience

I am completed satisfied with the customer service*** team, including ***, are experts, no doubt about itNot only were they able to fix my credit, I ended up with a better offer than any company that had quoted me.They are truly looking out for your best interest.Thank you guys!

Excellent company to do business with Honesty and integrity are the two words I would use to describe Star Financial It's the best company I've done business with to obtain a mortgage Brian S was very thorough and is very knowledgeable It was a pleasure to work with him to get my mortgage loan approved

I recently completed a refinance with star financial. I had the pleasure to work with FRANK COELHO. He was very knowledgeable, helpful, considerate and always available when I needed him in completing this very complex refinance. I will recommend him and the company to my friends and business associates should they need any financing transactions!!

I had an awesome experience with Star Financial.
Brian S was extremely helpful and patient during my process of refinancing my house.
We set up a gameplan and followed through. I was able to pay off my debt, raise my score, and lower my monthly total payments, allowing me to save a lot of money.
I would recommend them to anyone who wants professional and personal service.

Had a great experience with Star Financial. Brian was able to save me money, and get me an excellent refinance deal. Star Financial was on top of all the steps, and kept me updated very often. All in all an excellent company to deal with, and I recommend it. Actually, I recommended it to my son who was also taken care of.
