I am a 51 year old disabled woman due to back and hip issues. I bought this device on June 28th, 2019 to help with going up and down my basement steps to do my laundry. From day 1 I had issues with the device not working, not moving, beeping uncontrollably.
I called and wanted to return the item and Bob told me they were not going to do that. I was then told they would come out for free the first time. Ryan came out after I said that I was not going to pay the $125.00 + fee and said that the connections were not meeting so he fixed it and left. Well I am having the same issue now and I will not contact them because their used product they sold me when I had asked for a new unit is not worth the $125.00 for them to come look at and they have already said they wont give me my $2300.00 that I spent back.
I have not been able to use the unit or go up and down the steps to do my laundry so I have been having to go to the laundromat to wash and dry my clothes which is costing a lot of money, time and gas in my car.
To Whom it May Concern,
The product the client is referring to is a refurbished used stairlift unit sold in excellent condition with a warranty from date of sale/installation. Client has not called with any claims against the warranty since the first initial call as detailed in this complaint. Initial service request was completed. We will follow up with client to remedy further service needed for product now that we're aware of a 2nd service request.
