I took my 50cc moped to Star to get it serviced on April 20th to have my brake lights, and my push starter fixedThey charged me for a battery and labor which added up to be dollarsOn the 27th of April, my moped was back to the way it was before I had brought it thereI then took the moped back and they charged up the battery free of charge and sent me on my wayI've had no problems with it until a month later and I've had to kick start the moped each time and my lights are not properly workingI called Star to speak to a manager about the situation and what actions I needed to take to fix the problemShe simply said that it was not her problem, and there was nothing she could do about itShe told me she was the manager/owner but she was talking to me (a customer) like I had no reason to call and that she was too busy to deal with me

On November 22, 2014, Mr*** did purchase a 49cc moped from Star MotorBike & ATVHe returned later concerned about speed of mopedStore owner, *** ***, made carburetor adjustments on moped and allowed Mr*** to ride other mopedsMr*** seemed to leave satisfied with purchaseOur sales receipt also states no return/refund on used itemsMr*** was also made aware of moped definition for State of KentuckyKRS 6(b) “Moped means either a motorized bicycle whose frame design may include one or more horizontal crossbars supporting a fuel tank so long as it also has pedals, or a motorized bicycle with a step-through type frame which may or may not have pedals rated no more than two brake horsepower, a cylinder capacity not exceeding fifty cubic centimeters, an automatic transmission not requiring clutching or shifting by the operator after the drive system is engaged, and capable of a maximum speed of not more than thirty (30) miles per hour”

My husband had mechanical issues on his Suzuki motorcycle while traveling from N. Ky. to Florida. He called me from the side of the expressway to Google search a motorcycle repair shop in the Bowling Green area. I was able to find three but only Star MotorBike & ATV was open. My husband was able to get a tow truck to take the bike to Star. The staff at Star treated him wonderfully. They stayed late to diagnose the issue and one of the staff even took time from his evening to go retrieve the part that was needed. Another staff member gave my husband a ride to a nearby hotel. My husband's trip was delayed by 24 hours but the staff at Star made it much easier for him. I can't thank them enough!! Outstanding customer service!
