We hired Paint line to do a complete exterior painting project for us, the price was fair and their work was excellentIt was nice to see a supervisor on the job site throughout the project so if we had any questions they would be answeredThe foreman Will was also the carpenter and did a fantastic job replacing the rotted wood on our homeThe owner and the crew were great to work with and took very good care of our newly done landscaping...they cleaned up at the end of each dayWe had a hard time picking out colors but the owner helped us by coming out and applying color samples on the house...my wife is picky but Josh was patient enough to come out a few times before she finally decided on the colorsThe workers were extremely professional and their knowledge and experience was very noticeableIt definitely wasn't a easy project our house is stories and we have some very high peaks and areas of the roof are very steep but they were able to get it done without any issuesOverall we are very happy with the way the project went and with the final results

You’ll get what looks like a fair or low price, and you’ll be sorry later Had them paint my house and barn the summer of We’ve owned our house since 1980, and, until now, I’ve painted the house and barn every or years with some help from my wifeGetting too old for ladder work, so I decided to hire someone Josh is a pleasant salesman, with a positive answer to everything whether it’s true or notI wasn’t crazy about his choice of paint (a Sherwin-Williams brand) and suggested another, actually cheaper oneNo dealHis men arrived (two guys and a kid) and started scrapingMy contract said they’d scrape and power sand all loose/peeling paint They certainly didn’t power sandAs far as scraping, my wife and I know how to scrape, we’ve done enough in our years Josh’s guys introduced us to the ‘tap’ method of scrapingYou find an area of loose or peeling paint, you tap it times with your scraperIf the paint doesn’t fall off, it doesn’t need scrapingAfter listening to this the first day, I went out after the painters had lefts and immediately found dozens of areas of loose paint they hadn’t scraped in the area that was ‘finished’I sent an eMail to Josh asking him what was going on He came over the next day and agreed with me, and said he’s told his men to do a better jobAfter the second day, I eMailed Josh and suggested we just stop the job---they weren’t scraping, they were just tappingBy the third day, after another one of Josh’s ten minute visits, his men started scraping most (not all---they still left areas) of the areas neededMy contract also said they’d fill in all holes, calk all cracks, replace any loose nails, etc They didn’tThen the painting started I should have been suspicious since I’ve never seen anyone paint a house with a paint roller---not a paint brush in sightThe primer they used was so thin, it dried transparentAnd they did al poor job on the bottom of the clapboards---need a paint brush to do that Bottom line on the painting: even with the two coats I paid for, the amount of paint applied is thin and minimal Have to wonder if they thinned it for their rollers Within months, already seeing dust/dirt sticking (this shouldn’t happen if you put enough paint on)I doubt the job will last yearsWhen I complained, Josh came back and had one of his guys put some additional paint on a few areasStill looked lousy (roller again)My son had enough and said it was OK just to get rid of himWe knew that we’d paid for a rotten job and nothing was going to change that fact There are a lot of good painters out there---use them, not Paint Line Painting
They were recommended by a neighbor so we hired them to paint the exterior of our home in JulyThe owner came out and provided us with a very professional estimate & the price was within our budgetThe painters did a fantastic job....we were very pleased with the quality of the jobWe had a TON of rotted wood on our home so they were also able to replace the wood with *** materials that turned out greatJust recently had them back at our home to paint several rooms inside & couldn't be happier with they way everything turned outWe had some major ceiling damage that the did an AMAZING job repairing & THEY installed some new drywall in our laundry roomThey were quick but very detailed and thorough....cleaned up every day & took very good care with our home & furnitureMy wife and I highly recommend Paintline & we are looking forward to having them back a 3rd time!! to stain our deck & we are confident they will do a great job like they did on the rest of our home
