8-16-16Appointment was made on 7-25-to replace A/C compressor supplied by customer The vehicle arrived @10:am & customer was informed there is no warranty with customer supplied parts The vehicle was finished on 7-26-AM.A/C was on for hours & the air remained cold
Vehicle was picked up late PM & customer returned minslater stating the A/C is warm I verified the condition & told the customer:- I could not check the problem because of being late in day & I had no room in the shop. - I would check my work at no charge the next day 7-27-& asked the customer to drop off vehicle early in the AM- If there were other problems with the A/C system there would be a charge of $per hour. Customer told me that *** *** *** check the whole system & he only needed an A/C compressor A - Customer did not show for his appointment on 7-27-& did not phone me with any issues To sum it up:- I offered to look at vehicle @ no charge - He did not take advantage of that - His vehicle was in a major accident & was totaled by the insurance co Has a "R" title brand- A/C compressor was new but was made in "China" - poor qualityI believe there were other issues with the A/C system which I am not responsible for.Thank you Neil D
