this company is the worst construction company there is if you even want to call it a company the [redacted] is just a guy named [redacted] who rides around in a van and claims to know how to do pavers and concrete he has no experience he goes around and picks up guys and pay them $40 a day to do tremendous hard labor with pitchforks and sledgehammers like back in the 18 century. He claims to know how to do the job but he does not know how to do anything but destroyed your stuff your house when he was done with my job I was horrified I have to now go behind him and fix everything that he broke up and made a mess of he tries to collect all his money up front because he know he does not know how to do anything do not use this guy you will be sorry I end up spending thousands with him and I am very upset

Review: I contracted with Star Shine to tear off and "remove all old flat roof" and replace with a new plywood, insulation, rubber roof with flashing and reflective covering. (1) Star Shine did do NOT a tear-off, but overlaid the new plywood on top of the original plywood. This increases the "dead load" on my roof; also the new roof is now elevated approximately 2 inches higher than it was originally. That means 2 inches lower height, and less protection for anyone working at the roof edges. (2) Star Shine removed two vents that were on the roof and covered them over with the new layer of plywood (3) The new roofing is not level and appears not to be properly secured to the underlay.There are visible gaps in the seams of the layers

The agreement was for a tear off. Sewer gases are now backing into the house"Desired Settlement: I have no confidence in the competency of Star Shine. A new contractor will have to come remove the original underlying defective layer of plywoodnd that Star Shine covered over. Additionally new vents will have to be installed with the proper flashing to allow for the escape of the gases that are now contained within the house.
