to this consumer resource to vent his frustration as to how long it is taking, I would state there is no defect here*** *** lives in one of the boros of NYCAfter the winter we have had there are many potholes to watch out for that will do much damage to any vehicleSo be careful

I want to warn everyone against the service center at Star Subaru in *** *** Every time I have taken my car there, there is an issue Recently, I scheduled an appointment for an oil consumption test, something Subaru admitted fault to with their engines for my car make/model and year Wes, an employee at the desk insisted I bring my car back after 1,miles even after I questioned the owners manual stating 1,miles, not 1, When asked if he had it in writing, he continued to say that Subaru tells him it's 1,miles and nothing to show me When asked for someone from Subaru to tell me this, he gave me the customer service number Wes also insisted I would have to pay for the "oil change" which is part of the oil consumption test Even after speaking to the service manager, Steve I was informed that I would have to pay for the oil change, even after I insisted that it is part of the test and my sister who had the same issue with her car, did not pay for the oil change at the Smithtown service center Wes also tried to scam me by telling me my car was leaking oil because of the last oil change and showed me an old and new washer, but the new washer looked new because it was not tightened and flattened yet like the old one was which is what happens to a washer when you do an oil change After speaking to the corporate office for Subaru (Dot - a lovely woman) she notified me that I should NOT have been charged and they were suppose to bill it under claims She also politely explained to me that the policy is to return the car for the test after 1,miles, not 1,or if the oil light comes on again Star Subaru was trying to get me to bring the car back sooner so it wouldn't leak as much oil Because I am a woman, I believe they are sexist and trying to scam me, thinking I don't know what I am talking about I had to argue with both Wes and Steve and got no where I didn't have to argue at all to the corporate office who politely explained I was right and they were wrong Do NOT take your car here They are not to be trusted They will lie and tell you the wrong information to benefit themselves And if you ever have any questions, call Subaru corporate office immediately

Review: On 2/**/2014, my rim began to have issues. At first I believed it was a flat but then during a closer inspection, it seemed as if the rim had cracked but no damage had happened to the wheel. When I arrived at the Star Subaru service station, they did not even mention that it may be a defective rim and had immediately told me I would have to pay for it. On that day, they took over $400.00 out of my account and told me the rim would be in on Tuesday. Every time I called, they has pushed back the arrival date until finally one representative told me it would not be in until the following week.

When I reached out to Subaru corporate, they refused to give me a loaner car of similar sizing.Desired Settlement: Replace the possibly defective rim at no charge.
