Review: Customer Service does not respond, billing refund due, order not filled.

Order 4/**, was double billed, called 4/**, 5/*, spoke with [redacted], said would change order, drop one light and refund the 2nd charge, as well as $203.49 for one light. Emailed 5/**, rec. part order 5/**, called, told that rest of order should ship following week, and the $203.34 refund would process.

Emailed 5/**, 6/*, no response. Called 6/**, asked for return call. Called 6/**, same thing. Email 6/** . no response. I have had no phone call and no emails since my complaints beginning May *. I did, on July **, finally receive one piece of the order. Star Tiffany has not credited my visa card for other items as I asked.

Review: Ordered a $599 lamp over three months ago. No delivery of lamp and no refund. Three phone calls (2 to answering service, 1 to operator at the store) and 4 emails sent in last three weeks. No replies or calls from anyone. Order number [redacted]. Check was cashed in March by company. I would like my money refunded.

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Star Tiffany Studios regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Star Tiffany Studios emailed me after being contacted by the Revdex.com and told me to contact Visa (I used a Visa Debit Card to make the purchase) and see if I could get the $1198 charges reimbursed by Visa. It claimed it has a problem with its "credit card processor" and has not been paid by the processor. This is the first time it has ever claimed to not have been paid and to having a problem with a credit card processor. My bank, Wells Fargo (which issued the Visa Debit Card), has proof that Star Tiffany Studios received and its account was credited with the payments almost four months ago. The $1198.00 was removed from my checking account at that time.

I immediately emailed back and informed Star Tiffany Studios that my bank paid the money to their business. I asked it why in the first two months after my purchase (when it was still responding to my inquiries) it kept saying it was shipping "soon" and never mentioned any payment problem with its "credit card processor." Also, this is its "credit card processor" and should be something they work out, it should not be a situation where the customer gets no product and gets $1198 deducted from his checking account.

As noted in my complaint, the item purchased costs $599. The reason $1198 was deducted from my checking account is because the charge was processed twice, one week apart, and I did not catch it at the time.

Based on my dealings with Star Tiffany Studios, I believe it is a disreputable company that may knowingly be involved in criminal activity.

The Suffolk County Division of Consumer Affairs issued a Notice of Violation to Star Tiffany Studios on July ** (based on my complaint) and is requiring it to attend a hearing on August **.
