This issue is almost a year old.There was nothing wrong with the wheels he purchased. He contacted the credit card company which opened a case (which is usually very easy to win) and he lost. Last week, this issue was heard in small claims court and he lost again.I am attaching

Review: I was charged for labor that was not performed satisfactory. The wheels that I purchased were defective, incompatible with the vehicle, or installed improperly. I had to buy another set of wheels and pay for labor at another repair facility to restore the vhiecle to a drivable condition.Desired Settlement: The star tire should pay us back $1009.04. That was total cost of amount of the charge.

Review: I went to Star Tire on July 15, 2014 to have my tire replaced due to a flat tire. I purchased two tires because I figured it would be best for them to wear evenly. I have a sports performance vehicle so my front tires are smaller than the back. I was replacing the two back tires, one had a flat. The tire dimensions are 225-25 in the front and 225-55 in the back. The two tires I purchased were 225-25. They should have been placed on the front of my vehicle and the 225-55 dimension tires on the rear. The repair shop rotated my tires and left my car with 3 tires that were 225-25 and one that was 225-55. I went back to the repair shop today July 17, 2014 to have my original tire that was not flattened, replaced. I called this morning and was advised they would look for my tire and would be able to replace it. When I got to the shop I was advised that the tire was gone. Due to the error made by the repair shop they offered to replace the tire, however, the tire I received is in very poor condition and does not perform properly on my vehicle and I am still having the issue with acceleration and poor performance. As I walked to my car I noticed the original caps that were on my car, used to keep the air in the tires, were gone. I had two of the originals, which are silver plastic caps and specific to the car, and two that were replaced with black rubber caps. I went back into the repair shop to ask about my original caps and was advised that I only came to the shop with two of them. I found one of the caps on the floor myself and was then advised that I only came with three. I advised the repair shop that I came with 4 caps on my car and I found one that they lost, so it was quite obvious that they lost the other cap as well. If the cap was not lost today it was lost on July 15th, the first day I went into the shop. I know for sure that my car had all of the original caps on when I left the repair shop on the first dayI dealt with the owner, his name is [redacted]. He did not handle the repairs and was at the shop when I went back with the issue. He did not assist very much, as his wife had all the say and spent 10 minutes trying to convince me that I probably had bad shocks on one side. One of the men in the shop pointed out that he made the mistake of rotating my tires and removing the wrong one and that tire is no longer available after two days when tires are not discarded until the third day that they are left behind, as printed on the receipt.Desired Settlement: I would like my original continental tire back that was removed from my car and should have been kept in the shop for 3 days or I want a full refund of $267.79
