Star Windshield Repair And Replacement

We had our car tinted on 8/19. We noticed a week later that there are bubbles and scratches all over the tint. We took it back to the owner (Scott) to resolve the issue. His website has a "Lifetime Warranty" but Scott was not willing to help out at all. He was not cooperative and was very rude over the phone. He said "this has not happened in my last 10 years, we are the best tint service in AZ" with an aggressive tone. He would not even let me explain and started yelling in the phone. I have owned a carwash and a tint service so I can spot a poor quality job when I see one. I am taking it to the Mercedes dealership to fix his crappy job. Do not go to this place.

Today I got my winshield replaced and windows tinted (the tinting was free thanks to a current promotion). I've used them a few years ago for winshield chip repairs. The service was outstanding both times and the quality of work today was top notch.

My name is Kevin Kitchens. My experience with the owner of Star Windshield (what I was told), Scott was very unprofessional. Although he re-tinted my car, which he was suppose to because his website states "Lifetime Warranty", he first told me that he didn't tint my car because he didn't recognize the tint film when he examined my car. Then he told me he could not have tinted my car because he has tinted cars that last 10+ years. I did not have the receipt at the time because I thought I would be in his system. So I spent 2 days looking through old receipt and found his. When I showed him the receipt, he only said "Oh, this was 6 years ago." He did not apologize for accusing me of coming to the wrong place, for saying I was wrong, or he made a mistake. He seemed upset that he had to re-tint my car. So after we scheduled an appointment for him to redo it and he did it, I asked the secretary Rachel if I would get another receipt just to show that my car was re-tinted and if I could bring it back if there were any more problems. She said I would not get another receipt and I could not get my car re-tinted if this happens again. But I thought Scott guarantees a "Lifetime Warranty" according to his website. So she told me that Scott could explain the situation more and he started yelling at me that he was not going to re-tint my car if it peeled again because "the problem is your car and not my tint. It's your car's fault." He did not want to hear my concerns. He did not care about the warranty he offers. He did not let me talk when we were on the phone because he would interrupt me every time I tried to say something. He was arguing and be very aggressive even when I wasn't saying anything. He repeated over and over that he has never had this problem in the 20+ years he has been in service and there are bad reviews about him and his service on Google that are similar to my experience. He argued with me when I brought the issue to him to fix and he argued even after he fixed the issue. His customer service or customer concern is very poor. I would not recommend him to anyone I know. He definitely does not work by the most popular saying "The customer is always right" because in this case, the customer was right and was abused for asking a business (Scott) to honor his word. I did have my car tinted there, I did have my receipt, and I just wanted my car fixed. I was very upset with the unprofessional service I received from Scott and Star Windshield Repair.

I called to get a chip fixed and they were very accommodating in getting me in right away.

Service was fast and easy to do business with. Pricing was more than fair. I would recommend them to anybody

Excellent quick service. Provided a lot of tinting options, terrific installation and very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Not to mention completed it at a fraction of the cost of other window tinting companies.

The staff (Rachel and Gary) and the owner (Scott) were extremely friendly and helpful. They were very responsive and worked within my schedule. They replaced my windshield the next day! I received great service and I will return to them for any future auto window repairs or replacement and will refer others to Star Windshield!

I had the best experience at Star Windhsield in Chandler! Rachel at the front desk was so very nice and worked with me and my insurance company. They did an amazing job on my windshield and tinting.
