While dining at the Starboard Galley in [redacted] this party purchased a meal which cost $She purchased lunch with a credit card and the credit card processing company pre-approved the transaction for 120% in anticipation of a 20% tip for the server In this instance, the credit card processing company had technical difficulties and pre-approved this transaction twice The customer was reimbursed fully for her charges, and both pending transactions on the credit card have been released It did take the credit card processing company a few days to correct the issue.The resolution to this complaint was that the Starboard Galley issued a credit for the entire meal, and the bank is no longer placing a hold on the account All members of this customers party enjoyed a free lunch on the Starboard Galley, for a problem that the credit card processing company created I hope this resolution is acceptable to all parties involved We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.Starboard Galley Management
