Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: My stuff was NOT delivered This company has not contacted me regarding my stuff I have called several times looking for my stuff I had boxes and only came You are a liar and a thieve I am missing stuff and been in contact with them regarding my goods, I went to your warehouse and saw the way you store the items that belong to your customers Shame on you!! I am rejecting this response because: I was physically there at the homeThe move was not complete at allIf the move was complete why was my furniture NOT reassembledIf my move was complete why was furniture left in my front yard and in the garage where they clearly did not belongI paid Star City movers do do a scpecific job according to the contract sent to may emailMy self and my fiance was in contact with the manager and owner the day of and afterI was absolutely mistreated from the both of them on the phoneThey would not send any one out to help me reassemble my furniture or return the missing property that was not deliveredYou can see in the pictures I submitted how my family came from Maryland to help put my furniture togetherI also have a police report to prove the damages and missing propertyI believe any company not just Star City movers has an obligation to help there customers and come to some type of resolutionI just think it is absolutely absurd how they will not alteast acknowledge any of there wrong doingIf you go on to there Face Book page you will see other recent complaints from customers with similar or worse situations

Standard insurance for licensed and insured movers is $per pound [redacted] had numerous pieces of furniture that were not properly emptiedA lot of these pieces were made out of pressed woodThere was already a lot of pre-existing damage

It has been over two weeks since I have movedThe owner has not returned any of my phone calls or emails in regards to status of my belongingsI have called numerous times to
his manager Casey too who doesn't answer my callsI call the main number and I spoke to his sales reps by the name of Kerry, Vera and Vanessa who have no clue what's going onYesterday, October I was told my missing stuff was in Virginia but they didn't really know because the owner hasn't returned any of their calls or messagesI called today October to follow up yet again and was told the people in Virginia are now out of the country so I wouldn't be able to get my missing stuff anytime soonThen Vanessa told me that she had some of my stuff that they never put on the moving truck in the first place (my entertainment center and my stepping stool) but she was told by the manager, Kerry they are not to Come to my apartment to deliver my stuff until everything is retrievedThey don't even know where my other stuff is so why can't they drop off the stuff they have of mineCurrently in my living room is a TV that they brought to me on my moving day that isn't mine and refuse to come pick that up to deliver to the rightful ownerIt's been over two weeks and I want my stuff and money back for all of the damageIf my stuff is in Virginia, it doesn't take two weeks to get back or at least have the owner call meFor all I know he doesn't exist and I don't know how this company is still around.

Dear Revdex.com representative, The customer was not physically present to direct the moversHer boyfriend didHe specifically instructed the guys where to put the belongingsThis is a preposterous claim- we completed the moveWe only received notification a day after the move

I am rejecting this response because:My furniture came with rips, scratches, and dragged and I have tons of pictures to prove itWhen everything was loaded into the truck - My furniture did not have a big gash on it, the drawer was not broken, my end tables were not scratched, my TV was not missing, my mirror was not missing, my brand new table that was assembled in my apartment did not have any scratches or marks, my labeled boxes of shoes and pots and pans were put into the truck, my brand new mattress was not wet, or dragged on the ground now having holes, my brand new bed frame did not have any holes in it, my head board was not scratched or damaged, my pots and pans were not broken and our entertainment center was put on the truck. The movers said I could leave my clothes in the drawers and they taped it up and it went in the truck perfectly fineThere seems to have been a big issue when the moving company showed up on Friday (hours past due of their original time) in a different truck because the way my items came out of the truck were not the way they went it, and explains why half of my items wound up either missing OR in Virginia (if you can even believe that)I have receipts to prove that Sleepy's delivered my bed mattress and frame directly to my apartment year ago and never had a scratch - now it looks like it was burnt with cigarettes and dragged through the streets of HobokenI have attached pictures of all of the damaged items that came to my house and I have multiple witnesses to attest to this horrible service this company provides and should never be allowed to move anyone every again
I also find it amazing that the owner has responded to the Revdex.com and he hasn't returned any of my emails or many phones calls that I have left him

I have filed a complaint against Star City Movers and reluctantly I am withdrawing my complaint against the Moving Guys for the reason that I have nothing in writing to PROVE that I called their phone number and connected with Star city Movers.  Unknowingly, I believed they were the same. The Moving Guys are not innocent of wrongdoing. I am certain they know exactly how this happened but I have nothing in writing to prove this.  [redacted]

My stuff was NOT delivered.  This company has not contacted me regarding my stuff.  I have called several times looking for my stuff.  I had 56 boxes and only 53 came.  You are a liar and a thieve.  I am missing stuff and been in contact with them regarding my goods, I went to your warehouse and saw the way you store the items that belong to your customers.  Shame on you!!.  Get me my stuff back.  I have been contacted by other people who you have done this to, and you WILL PAY for my stuff.  I will get my stuff back.  You are a waste of a life!

StarCity Moving successfully completed this move. [redacted] specifically notated the bill of lading with "will not dispute". We sent her 4 instead of 3 guys.
