Review: 9/6/14-Stardust performed estimate to change the liner for my in-ground pool. I have paid costs totaling $3,953.65.As of 6/14/2015, I have not received have not received satisfactory resolution/service. Timeline:-9/13/2014-Signed the proposal and paid the deposit of $953.65.
-10/14/2014–Stardust completed Invoice #[redacted] to install liner $2,500.00 payment made.
-10/17/2014–Stardust delivered chemicals to balance pool before closing. I paid $253.75 for Invoice #[redacted].
-10/23/2014–Stardust responded to complaints that the pool cover was sagging and the pool appeared to be losing water. Work performed for Invoice #[redacted]: “All straps tightened, stayed until water was pumped off to make sure cover was tight just keep eye on leaves and water on cover.”
11/23/14-Pool was still losing water-went to Stardust, spoke to Dennis and emailed pictures showing the low water level and the liner pulling away from the wall.Was advised to drain pool and Stardust would come out, check the lines, and have to close my pool again.
-Stardust came to check the lines, said the main drain was not properly sealed when the liner was installed. They closed the main drain and I had to fill up my pool a second time so they could close it again.
-12/1/14-Stardust completed invoice #[redacted], added closing chemicals and put cover on.
-chemicals on the bottom that had not dissolved, I was assured they would not stain the liner.
1/4/15-went to Stardust pools,sent 3 pictures showing leaves and chemicals still on bottom of pool, and rust coming from pool light .
-1/12/14-invoice [redacted] completed - no services/notes listed on invoice
-3/15/15-wrote letter of complaint (available upon request) to Stardust
-3/18/15-Response letter from Stardust stated issues would be rectified
-5/9/15-Stardust replaced pool light screw(wrong size screw used initially was causing leak)
-6/6/15-Spoke to Walter said he would come out 6/11 or 6/12 to look at stained liner
-6/8/15-Stardust vacuumed pool,pulled up linerDesired Settlement: As of 6/14/15 - Walter has not come to review the issues with the liner or provide adequate resolution, despite my numerous efforts.
I would like all products and services to be completed to my satisfaction as guaranteed in the proposal and letter I received from Stardust date 3/18/15 stating "our company guarantees once the weather is warm enough we will rectify any issues with the liner..." This includes fixing any areas where the cover is pulling away from the wall or is not flush against the wall as well as ensuring there is no staining on the liner. If the staining cannot be removed from the current liner, I would like a new liner installed.
As another alternative, because I am not confident Stardust is capable of resolving this issue, I would also accept a full refund for all work/products/materials that I have paid for to date, so that I can hire another company to complete the job.
