Good Morning, This is my response to the complaint. Misunderstanding:1. We got new software in August of 2016. When information was transferred to the new system, the invoice of $was transferred threetimes. The account was
corrected leaving only one invoice of $156.00. I had explained the issue to Mr***.2. The invoice was actually for a job done in June of to check out a water heater because Mr***’s electric bill was very highHe did notknow if he might need a new water heaterNot sure if the high electric bill was from the water heater. *** went to the job tested the upperand lower Thermostat elementsThey were not drawing power. 3. An Estimate was sent.4. Mr*** was billed for the time *** spent checking the water heater and testing the elements.5. Communication: We made three calls to the company and no one explained that our bill was tripled due to software issuesNo one responded to our letters or called back when we were told they wouldWe just kept getting billed2. Accuracy: Our original call was not for work but for an estimate***, who was helpful, found there was no issue with drawing electricityThe water heater continued in use for many more months but we were replacing it due to high electric bills3. Disclosure: We think your company would benefit by adopting a policy of disclosure that your estimates are provided at a costWe have been around for many years and have received many estimates for work and have never been charged for one so that was startling to us.
