Review: I have retained 'Starlight Autobody' as my auto repair shop of choice after my accident on 14 September 2013. Even though the claim adjuster's estimate said that the work should take about 22 hours, it took me 5 weeks to get my car back. I picked up my car on October 20, 2013. Because the guilty party's insurance provided a rental car only for two weeks, I was forced to pay for a rental car out of pocket. This has caused me a substantial financial burden. He will not reimburse me for the rental. Furthermore, when I picked up my car, I noticed a few things that were damaged. It seems that he didn't cover up my car when he painted other cars, because there is a lawyer of spray paint on my side windows, on the right side of the car and on the trunk lid. I asked another mechanic about what I could do to fix it. He told me there is not much I could do about the windows. He did say, however, that I could try to buff the other parts of the car. This, too, will cost me extra money. When I complained about these things, he refused to reimburse or fix the damage. Then I looked on the wall in his office to find his business information. However, I could not find his business license anywhere. When I tried to search him online, I could not find any business license under 'starlight autobody' or the owner, "[redacted]" anywhere. Furthermore, it seems that he will move his shop to a different location. He is fleeing without reimbursing or fixing the damage he has caused to my car. He refuses to tell me where his new body shop is located; which means, I won't even be able to file a complaint about him or report him to the FTC.

First, I would like for Revdex.com to investigate this body shop. He is operating without a valid license. It wouldn't be too far-fetched to assume he is not paying taxes either. Second, I would like for him to reimburse me for the rental car, for new windows on the front driver and passenger side, and for the buffing that needs to be completed to get rid of the layer of spray paint on several areas on the car.
