Re: Revdex.com Complaint ID [redacted] (Starlite Motel, Hebron Rd, Heath, Ohio 43056)The guests that made the complaint are not a reliable source and have made allegations that are simply untrue The male and female guest were not the ideal guest for example, after filing their complaint with the Revdex.com they came back to the owners of Starlite Motel and said that they would retract the complaint from Revdex.com if the owners of the Starlite Motel gave them cash to do so This is a great example of the bad character of the guests and the motive behind filing the complaint and allegations The guests also caused $worth of damage to the room during their stay Damage was done to the bathroom they have torn tiles, base boards, ripping the basin down, punched the door and created in a hole The guests also keyed the owner's car (witnessed by another guest staying at the Motel) The male guest also has an extensive criminal background with the Heath Police Department and other local department, who search for him every other day The guests stayed in the room with two small children They did not care for the children, often times the owners of Starlite Motel would inform him that their small children were near the busy road as they played outsideThere was complete lack of supervision for the young children They also caused several other guests to check out early by bothering and disturbing them while they stayed at the Motel For example, on several occasions the male guest would knock on the doors of other guests late at night asking for a jumper cable to start his car These guests' character and judgment is at question as is the motive of filing the complaint The owners of Starlite Motel have also learned the guest have done similar things to other area Motels The room they stayed in and the other rooms at the Motel are very clean and have passed inspection every year There are no known issues with mold The rooms are cleaned daily and no known issues have yet to be reported Please confirm receipt of this rebuttal at your earliest convenience Thank you! Everything about this place is revolting. The room doors (at least room 8) have to be pulled extremely hard multiple times in order to open them from the inside, which I believe to be a fire safety hazard. The bathroom door also gets completely stuck, yet another hazard.
The showers go from freezing cold to burning hot, no matter how they're adjusted. Also room 27's air conditioning doesn't work, and instead they have the heat on, which in mid 80 degree weather creates another unsafe environment. Overall, I can not find one positive thing to say about this motel. Being unable to open the front and bathroom doors from the inside itself makes me never want to revisit due to the fact if there was ever a fire we would struggle to get out of the room in time.
