Advised I would receive refund (After several attempts) and yet to receive still 2 weeks after being told refund check was sent.
After arriving Saturday evening March 23, 2019, I tried on several occasions beginning Sunday, March 24, 2019 as did my travel agent to obtain assistance and have someone come fix 2 of the showers upstairs in the bathrooms adjoining the bedrooms we were using due to not having hot water. I called to also advise of 2 broken patio chairs we noticed upon arrival, the spa not heating during the duration of our stay, the living room TV not working properly (we eventually discovered that wires were not connected correctly and the TV was then working properly), bedroom TV off the utility room area not working properly(could turn on, however can not change channels), the handheld can opener was broken(we did come home to a replacement during the week). As a result of seeing the can opener was left we hoped that the shower issue had been fixed as well. Much to our disappointment it had not and we never saw anyone or gotten a call back regarding this the entire week of our stay.

Despite our several efforts throughout the week in addition to our travel agents' efforts and patience with maintenance and being told several times someone would be by to resolve the shower issues we saw no one all week.

I find this very disappointing and very unprofessional. At the very least I would appreciate a partial refund due to the inconvenience these issues have caused in my families vacation.

Desired Outcome

Starmark has agreed to refund me (2) nights stay, however it has been 2 weeks since I was advised that "the check was sent." I am appalled. Refund for (2) nights now seems insufficient for the headache and inconveniences that this has caused. I cannot believe a business thinks that it is ok to treat people this way--I paid a little over $1800.00 for a week's stay with my family for vacation and did not have hot water in ours or my 5 year old daughter's bathrooms. We rented the home we did because it had a bathroom for each bedroom (We had our whole family with us and all rooms were occupied with the exception of 1). All I am asking for is the refund I was advised I would received (Although after waiting two weeks for a check that "was sent" on 4/17--2 nights ($432.18) seems very insufficient. I have every reason to believe that this refund check has never been sent--I have never had packages and/or mail take 2 weeks to get to me from Florida and my mother in law sends my daughter mail weekly from Florida. I appreciate your assistance in getting this matter resolved.

The stay at *** FL *** from March 21,2019 to March 24, 2019 was unacceptable and I request to rectify this situation is the returning of my money. Included is pictures of roaches in the kitchen, bedrooms, dirty bed comforter with semen on it , trash left in rooms, and broken ladder on bunk bed which one of the children almost fell off! When we checked in there was a letter from Chris stating he was aware of a broken item in one of the bathroom but it was never fixed. The bathroom sliding door fell one child when we was sliding it back so he could enter. They did not clean the sheets and blankets because semen was found on one with crumbs and another person hair. We found trash underneath the bed in one room and the hot water did not work in two of the bathrooms. Roaches crawled all over the bed and one crawled on us while we was sleeping. The kitchen was terribly infested with roaches that the crawled on anything left on the counter and was also on the furniture. Even after spraying roaches was on the counters and other areas of the house, we still had to throw away the fruits, sandwiches, and vegetable trays because they was contaminated due to the roaches. They over charged us for our stay after changing our reservation. they charged us $1832.54 even though we have an email stating they change our stay from 4 to 3 nights in the new amount should have been $1545.08. We called in reported the problems to Deon on March 22,2019 and she stated she noted the account. On March 28,2019 I called and spoke with Deon again in regards to our stay and she showed the empathy even with knowingly over charging us for the stay and the unsanitary condition of the vacation home. I request a full refund for the stay which was paid for with two debit cards.
