I am rejecting this response because: The charge appeared days after the original one. If I had gone back on my browser the charge would be on the same day or at the most the day after. I do not like a company that doesn't have customer service, you even send a DVD with no assistance for that. The name on the certificate was spelled wrong. However, I do appreciate the advice you gave me to contact my credit card company which I did that yesterday and disputed the second charge. If you had someone I could have spoken with, this issue could have been dealt with quickly and easily, instead I was all over the internet trying to find some kind of contact information. I did send multiple emails from your site and still have not received a reply. Then going to the Revdex.com, which I see you have been rated an F. That speaks for itself. I did not have a good experience at all.

I placed an order to name a star for our boss's birthday. Due to scheduling issues, our team could not get together to discuss the final details of the gift so we were delayed in submitting the order. A week ahead of the birthday, I placed the order and even had to modify it later that day. Not only did they respond quickly ensuring they would make the change, they also mailed it two days later and received it a day before we needed it. They were very helpful and responsive. The certificate is beautifully framed and has backup information to assist in finding the star. I wish every company would provide this kind of excellent customer service!

Review: This whole company is a scam. I received this "star" named after me as a gift. And this is by far the stupidest gift I have EVER received. There is no way to buy a star, the night sky is free. I thought that was a common known fact. On their website they claim everyone is guaranteed to be happy after having a star named after them. I AM NOT. I don't think a scam makes anyone happy. A 12 year old could have made the certificate they sent me. And the star is not even visible from Earth! I called to ask what the return policy is and of course, they do not accept returns. What a joke.

I want my Loved ones money back.Desired Settlement: I want to mail this "star" package back and I want my loved one to be reimbursed.

Review: I recently purchased a star for my son [redacted] online on October 30th, and paid $39.90. I received the star approx a week later. Then last week I received another star packet without me ordering it and a charge was placed on my credit card on Nov. 5th. They do not have a customer service telephone number only a line for placing orders. The only way to contact them is via their website but it doesn't give you space to write what your issues is about, you can only choose from the drop down and send your email. I expect to be refunded, but do not know if I will even hear from them.Desired Settlement: I expect to be refunded $39.90 for the second star. I am happy to return it, especially as I didn't order it. Thanks.

Review: This site advertises selling "star names." I understand that it's not officially naming a star, I made it as a gesture to someone.

After paying for the cheapest service via my debit card, I immediately received an email with confirming my order, the charges, and the co-ordinates of the star in question.

First, no file containing the certificate promised was emailed. An attempt to use their customer service links failed to generate a response. Next, I input the star coordinates and found nothing but blank space there. I'm sure SOMEWHERE in the universe there is a star at those coordinates haha but not remotely close to visible.

None of their "contact us" customer service links (find your star, cancel order, etc) generate a response at all, some of them don't even load a page after sending the complaint/help request.Desired Settlement: Immediate refund to my VISA debit card and assurances that my information won't be used in any other way.

Review: www.starnamer.org has taken my online payment and not sent the item I ordered. There is no email address to contact the company, no street address online anywhere that I can find, and only an 800#, in which the person on the other end only says "I'm sorry, I only take phone orders. You will have to request an email online." I demanded to speak to someone else, or a manager and he ("[redacted]") said there is no one to talk to and repeated what he said before.Desired Settlement: Refund and shutting this online scam down.

Review: The company refused to provide a refund for a cancellation due to "decision to purchase product and commitment to decision" even though the company provided an option to cancel the order. The cancellation page was rude and stated that their product "is not like a toaster that could be returned and resold".Desired Settlement: The company removes the option to cancel and order because cancellations do not result in refunds.

Review: I had ordered two stars. Both came with the identical information. I contacted them by e-mail and they sent me another one with the same information. They all three had the same location, same declination, same field, RA and Dec. . Had I only ordered one I would have never known they were selling the same star over and over again. I paid $51.89 for each star. I e-mailed them without any answer. I wrote them a letter on May 29, 2013 without response. We are on a fixed income and we thought this would be a special gift for a couple of special people. Instead it seems to be a rip off!Desired Settlement: $51.89 refund.

Review: I purchased a star certificate from [redacted] on January 16, 2013 for a total of $104.95. I never received anything from them and it has been over 6 months since I placed (and paid for) my order. Their website says they only answer questions via email and the only phone number given on the website is for placing phone orders only. After a month of not receiving anything from them or any contact from the company, I called the number on the site to see if anyone could help. The person I spoke to told me they would submit a complaint email but the company she worked for is contracted out by Star Namer and that she did not have a phone number for the Star Namer company. All she could do was submit a complaint the same way I was able to on the Star Namer website. I have sent numerous emails, I have called the "phone order" number and complained 4 or 5 times.

At this point I am beyond frustrated and disappointed by this entire ordeal. I had placed this order for my best friend who's mother had just passed and at the time of my purchase I was very excited to give it to her.. I feel this company has ripped me off and I refuse to sit back amd just let that happen. I work hard for my money and even though $104.95 may not be a lot to some people, it makes a big difference to me. If I were able to throw $100 away just like that, then I would not be taking time out of my busy schedule to type all of this and file a complaint.Desired Settlement: After 6 months of frustrations, all I want is a refund of my money or, I will settle for the EXACT order I placed.

Review: My boyfriend ordered some products from this website about a week or two ago and it has not came in the mail. the company did not give us a tracking number for us to track. It is a scam and many people have been fooled by this company.Desired Settlement: we would like to have the money back for this product! It was almost $200
