We try and get to all of our customers in a timely manner but at the time we were down to one service technician and we were very busy She was offered an overtime call in which we could have been there same day but didn’t want to pay overtime rates and said she would wait We got there in the time frame stated when the call was scheduled The technician got there and found that the check valve on the pump was broken and needed parts, so he called into the office and had another employee deliver it to him We didn’t have a valve and the valve on the pump we had didn’t fit into the old pump We replaced the pump which has a one year warranty on it I am sure like most things on EBAY it can be purchased cheaper than through a small business like ourselves who have to purchase things through a warehouse and deal with warranty issues We have been to the [redacted] residence a total of three times since we installed her new system in Once for a clogged drain, once we had to replace a motor which was under warranty, and then this time with the condensate pump We charged her the same as we do all of our customers; she was charged $for the trip and the first half hour, $for thirty minutes labor, and $for the condensate pump All of our service is COD which was not collected at the time of callWe gave her a ten percent discount for being a senior and weren’t charged for fifteen minutes of the techs time while he waited on the part to show up or for having the part deliveredSince the call was ran she mailed us a check of $which was not part of any agreement we have made We do not carry all the parts for all the things we use it isn’t economical or practical in our business; we do the best we can so that the customers are taken care of We have talked to Ms [redacted] and gave her $off of her original total and hope that is satisfactory to her in hopes of getting the balance of work done paid for soon

We are sending her the revised invoice in the mailIt should be delivered to Ms [redacted] early next week
