The allegations in this complaint are completely false and inaccurate.  The person who made this complaint, [redacted], is a former employee of our small business.  Ms [redacted] is a disgruntled former employee that continues to harass, contact parents and families, and other previous...

employees.  Whenever a complaint is made to state, they are required to come unannounced and investigate the complaint.  Ms [redacted] called state on us twice, two separate weeks.  State came, both times, and investigated Ms [redacted] exaggerated, inaccurate complaints.  Both times that state came, Ms [redacted] complaints were found unsubstantial.  We were not violated for anything because we are not breaking state rules and regulations.  The visits were unplanned and we were not aware state would be coming.  Ms [redacted] failed to speak with us about her concerns, at any time throughout her employment.  She became frustrated because she did not meet the requirements for a raise at this time.  She also was denied a last minute request off due to another employee having off already.  Ms [redacted] also was talked to about a few parent complaints and not using her cell phone during work hours as it jeopardizes the children's safety.  All of these things added up and upset Ms [redacted] to the point that fifteen minutes before her shift, she text and stated she quit.  Ms [redacted] did not give any indication to the other teacher's or to management that she was unhappy.  Due to her calling state and continuing to threaten us, we told her she was not allowed on the premises and her last check would be mailed to her.  Her last check was mailed, and has been cashed by her.  We were not contacted by the police department for doing anything wrong, either.  Ms [redacted] continues to call and harrass our employees, swear, scream, and continue to slander our names and business all over the internet.  We are currently speaking with a lawyer to see what our next step will be if Ms [redacted] does not move on with her life and stop making false allegations and slandering our name.  Ms [redacted] wants to call and complain to state, without knowing what the state regulations are.  State came and confirmed that a toddler can indeed sleep in the bathroom as long as it isn't being used by children (which it is not).  Also, had Ms [redacted] spoke with us, she would know that the parent requested their child put in a crib in a semi dark space after days of the child not napping.  We did not violate any rules or laws.  Also, it is not against state regulations to take children away from their classroom if they are causing harm to themselves or others.  We had an employee that due to lack of proper supervision, let a child fall.  We handled the procedure correctly, terminated employment, and got in contact with both state and the parents of the child.  The child was not harmed.  We handled this procedure properly, therefore, we were not found to have violated anything wrong.  Our daycare is a family owned business and we take pride in the care we give our children.  Our top priority at the center are our children and our families, and their well being.  It is devastating, disheartening, and sickening what Ms [redacted] is putting our employees and families through.  Ms [redacted] has tried to bad mouth us to all the families and our employees, but has not succeeded.  I believe that is why her allegations have gotten so exaggerated.  "Nothing is being done" which is making her more angry; however, nothing is being done because we are not doing anything wrong.  We would never do anything to hurt a child, an employee, or anyone for that matter.  We have written a memo to all of our parents/families of the children at the center and every single family is supporting us and backing us 100%.  We have had such nice comments, support, and feedback.  None of the families or other current employees support Ms [redacted] claims.  We continue to get monitored by state, both planned and unplanned visits, to make sure we are following all the regulations for this business.  We have received lots of kind words and would be happy to share them with you if needed as proof against Ms [redacted] claims.  When hired at our company, Ms [redacted] had just quit another daycare.  She had the same complaints about them and did not finish out her two weeks with them.  We should have taken that as a sign to not hire her at the time, had we known how miserable she would try to make everyone's lives.  Her claims not only affect us as business owner's, but our employees and our children's families.  This has taken a big toll on everyone and we hope that Ms [redacted] will stop being so angry for no reason and move on with her life and employment.  If you need any statements from employees or parents, please feel free to let us know.  I hope I covered our side of this situation to your satisfaction.  Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.  Thank you for your time.Sincerely,[redacted]
