We will contact the customer to discuss the issues and put a plan in place to resolve

South Coast Solar reviewed the power production guarantee that was issued to *** *** and determined there was some shading on his solar system Therefore, the amount he received was less because the power production allows for a reduction due to future tree growth, which he has from the
treeline on the southern side of his home South Coast Solar has not received a demand letter from client, but is willing to work with client to resolve any issues he may have with the production of the system The production shortfall was over a year period and the power production guarantee was honored and paid, but not to the clients liking South Coast Solar has reached out to *** *** to try and resolve the claim he has and resolve the remaining amount

[redacted], attached is a copy of the power production guarantee that we supplied with our system.  We also sent a copy of the energy estimate we calculated from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory showing what your system would produce with NO SHADING.  You did discuss with Eugenie about the trees and you are correct in the fact that you cut them down.  I understand that you are unhappy with the reduction in you power production amount and am willing to work with you to come to a resolution.  I do want to add that in our guarantee it clearly states under section 6 that "temporary shading or existing shading (that did not previously exist when the power production agreement was placed in force) or any other new conditions not previously identified are excluded from the PPG and may void the agreement at our discretion.  You have included the shading analysis in your response to the Revdex.com and it clearly shows that you do have shading and the amount of solar access is limited because of the trees.  We have no way of knowing exactly what trees were continuing to shade the structure unless we were to come out and complete another shading analysis.  The reason we include the disclaimer in our agreement is we can not control the growth of vegetation in your yard or on other peoples property.  I am willing to work with you and come to a resolution, but we did honor or promise to pay you. If you would like to discuss I am willing and able to talk.  Please call the office at ###-###-####

We have contacted the owner and have scheduled a visit for tomorrow 11/8/17.  I spoke with owner and will make sure she is satisfied with the repair to her roof.  The leak is not due to the installation of the solar equipment and will need to be repaired by a roofer.  If it is...

determined that it is in fact an issues caused by our installation we will fix the issue immediately.

Mr. [redacted] is correct that we did enter into an agreement with him to install a solar system.  He is also correct in the fact that we asked if we could delay the installation of the upgrade to his electrical service.  When we signed the contract the intention was to upgrade his service...

panel because they were adding to there home.  The typical cost for us to install a new service panel is 1200.  If there are existing electrical issues that is unknown or on the utility side of the meter, we have a disclaimer that it is not included in the contract.  In this case, the client did have a 125 amp meter socket that is existing and will need to be upgraded to bring his system into compliance to a 200 amp service panel.  In addition, a new utility pole that attaches to the top of his meter pan will need to be removed and reinstalled.  I called and spoke to the homeowners about the issue and offered to complete the new work at cost because of the length of time they waited or refund the 1200 to them.  At the time, I also recommended that we could use existing breakers and still complete all of the work at the same price so we could make the client happy.  The additional breakers may cost 50-150 dollars and we both agreed at the time that it was acceptable.Since then the client called and asked for the 1200 and we have issued a check to him for his compensation.  If any further discussion is needed we are more than willing to have more conversations. Robert S[redacted]
