We opened a case after the customers claimed that our technician scratched the surface of their stove front panel at the time of service and sent us the picturesWe gave Aaron Badger claim number during the telephone conversationBut instead of waiting for our supervisor and investigator
to arrive and investigate the case, that same day, August 27th, Nicole Badger left a message on our voice mail that they put stop payment on their check, they paid $for our serviceAnd they would call another company to fix the problemThey indeed called another company and Gary, the technician, who checked their stove, happened to be a friend of our manager, made a conclusion that the scratches are under the knobs, which were not removed by our technician during the time of service, our technician replaced spark moduleClearly, it was pre-existing damageHe also admitted to us that the work our technician did was correct and he did not charge these people even initial service fee, because there was nothing to repair, our technician installed the right part. He only asked them to write a positive review onlineOur team of professionals also thoroughly examined their pictures and came to the conclusion that the scratches are inconsistent with the job our technician performed on their stoveWe have not received $payment, they kept our $part, the damage obviously was pre-existing, so the customers' demand to be compensated in the amount of $will not be satisfiedWe are sending you a photo of their check which we did not try to cashAnd our lawyer considers legal action against these people

Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because:After calling the company to open a claim for the damage they did to our stove, the woman on the phone, Helen, informed us that we would have to wait for the technician to come back to see if the technician noted any previous damage, which he did notThey also have a carbon copy of the invoice to view that nothing was notedWe were never notified that the claim was cancelled until we spoke to Helen four days later and she said it was cancelled because we "acted like dishonest people" and she promptly hung up the phone after saying "there is nothing more to talk about"We called the company during business hours, shortly after they left the same day, after noticing the dents, scratches and non functioning stove, with no answer a message was left that we will be cancelling the check if no call back is receivedThere was no mention from Nicole about calling another company to fix the problem on the message If the problem was ever fixed by their technician why would a consumer subject themselves to another $service fee from another company to fix a problem that does not exist? The spark module did not fix the problem and with no call back we were forced to put a stop payment on our check which cost $We will not pay for a bad part or fraudulent service when on the invoice parts and labor are supposed to be warrantiedGary from Simi Valley Appliance was called to fix the existing problem and was additionally asked about what the cost of the damage to the front panel would beWe were quoted at a price of $for the new front panel and $for installation, $total in addition to the $fee for the check we had to pay ($grand total for the damages)He simply removed the knob and pushed a white piece attached to the knob using a small screwdriver and then put the knob back on and it was fixedThere was no charge as this was such a minor job and we were asked only to leave a review on yelpIt was clearly visible to Gary that the scratches and dents were not underneath the knobs at allIn Googling how to replace a spark module it is a necessary step to remove the knobs and front panel to complete the job that they claim they didThere is no way not to fix it and not touch the knobs, as it was not pre-existing at allAttached is a screen shot picture of how to replace a spark module and pictures of the steps necessary to remove the knobs and panelAs well as pictures of two areas on the front panel with the knobs on, clearly showing that the dents and scratches are not under the knobs as stated by the company

We made our decision. Nicole Badger can contact service provider directly at ###-###-####, C[redacted], DBA Intervicos,

On July 3rd our technician cleaned drain line and installed water valve on Whirlpool refrigerator owned by Jason Bond in Simi Valley, he charged the client $256 for the job performed. The customer signed our invoice, acknowledging that the repair was done to his satisfaction and paid in full...

with the check. Shortly after our technician left his home Jason Bond called our office and accused our technician of not installing the right part. The customer does not have appliance repair experience nor technical knowledge to draw such conclusions. The refrigerator is working normally as it should. We instructed the technician to call unhappy customer, arrange exchange our part (water valve) for his check. Jason Bond refused to do that. He demanded his check to be returned via mail and threatened to file Revdex.com complaint. We instructed the technician to mail his check back to the customer, which he did on July 4th. The customer would put stop payment anyway on his check. The customer called us 12 times during period July 4- July 7, most of the time after hours. His calls are in our telephone ID memory. Our office representative spoke with him 2 times, politely explaining Mr. Bond that the check was mailed to him and we do not have intentions to cash his check. The customer could not understand our explanations and repeatedly asked for his check to be returned. In our office clerk opinion he was under some kind of influence or mentally unstable at the moment. The check was returned, the customer kept our expensive part, enjoyed our free labor and accused us of stealing. No further comments.
