Guest asked to extend for a second night but credit card declined for Room & Tax plus incidentals
Hotel allowed guest
several hours to receive funds in order for hotel to process payment
Mid afternoon guest came to Welcome Desk and was upset that we needed a method of paymentAfter requesting payment once more we asked guest to checkout as we could no longer hold both rooms
Guest asked to speak to Director and as we proceeded to speak to guest once more, guest went to room to pack up and check out
We spoke to guest over the phone and guest stated that they would be checking out since payment had not been able to be resolved
We are not compensating guest as we did all that we could to allow guest more than sufficient time to resolve payment issues
