Stash prominently displays its phone number at the bottom of each page on the StashInvest website, displays its contact within the Stash application, on its Form ADV, and elsewhere Stash has an approximately person customer support team, accessible via phone or email during business hours
During August alone, Stash’s customer support team responded to approximately 50,emails and 6,phone calls.With respect to this Client, the Stash customer support team received an email from Client on September *, asking to terminate accountThat same day, the Stash customer support team responded to Client asking that Client email the Stash support team from the email address associated with Client’s Stash account, explaining that as a security measure Stash can only respond to email-directed instructions or questions if submitted through the email address associated with the Stash accountStash support team also supplied the phone number and office hours to call directly if the Client preferredOn September *, Client emailed again, again from an email address other than that which was associated with the Client’s Stash account, again asking to terminate accountThe Stash customer support team responded within the hour again asking Client to call the support phone line, reiterating that Stash customer support is only able to answer questions or take actions on an account when request comes from the email address associated with the Stash accountThe Stash customer support team also explained the withdrawal process step by stepOn September **, 2017, Client called Stash customer supportWhile Client initially wanted to close account, Client decided to leave account open and to continue with Stash product after Stash customer support explained how the Stash app and system work and the legitimacy of the product
