I am rejecting this response because: I have a copy of the bill where towing was included, having to take it to another shop this weekend to fix the harness and other problems that were done either in a hurry or just unknowledgebly and will have their professional opinion on that as well. The motor going in and that came out were k24's tho from a different specific car it was the same motor and mounts and connects the same way. There were parts not even connected, on the transmission which was their main focus. I have the old clutch, still in good condition and was charged for things I did not authorize. My comment that all the money I literally had was 1000 and I had to stay under that was not an okay to add things to my bill until it met or exceeded that. There was no communication with me throughout the process and that I have to go to another shop to fix things that troys failed to do properly is not above and beyond. I do not know how they've been in business so long with work and customer relations like this but I am spreading the word about my experience and they should step up and do the right thing by admitting they didn't take their time to do the job properly and charged for services I didn't agree to or get. I've attached a copy of my bill for you to view showing what I was in fact charged for, including the tow they just said they covered. Once I have the car looked at by this other shop I will send an invoice of what they find involving this.

The bottom line on this is that our job was to align the transmission. We then installed the clutch at no charge. The engine was installed by the customer and car came to us in pieces not running. The car was returned to customer running. Communication was between our employee and the customer. We've discounting the work as far as we can and consider this claim closed.
Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because:
Clearly on the invoice I was charged for a transmission swap, whic includes clutch install so of course you couldn't add that and that would also include cv axle install which was charged separate. Going through a third party and not informing me of all extra charges is unprofessional and shady. The car never received and alignment though I was charged and no one who was working on my car or actually doing the billing even ever contacted me. I was not notified nor did I give an ok to do anything extra. They left parts on the transmission linkage disconnected and had the car actually gone in gear and I drove it home without noticing it could have caused a wreck. This was rushed, unprofessional shoddy work and I would like this shop to be investigated further. I have found many complaints online along the same lines as mine. If I have to get a lawyer or my chain of command involved I will. These people should have done the right thing to begin with instead of screwing me thinking I don't know about the proper way a shop is ran and what is included or not in each job. Instead the owner is more worried about making money to gamble with and less worried about the safety and reliability of the work he sends out. This is not how a business is to be run and I will do what I need to to get the point across if the Revdex.com will not intervene.

Troy's  Auto Care is an automotive repair facility that has been in business for over 7 years. The owner was a 20 year veteran of Goodyear Service Company. We specialize in...

preventative maintenance and new tire installation. Our employee spoke to customer which was a friend of his about her 2003 Honda Accord. The car had a different engine not original equipment and it was brought in to have the transmission aligned. Car was previously at Goodyear and they declined to do the service. As a favor for our employee who was the customer's friend, we paid to have the car towed here.Car arrived not even running. Car arrived with both axles off and broken . Customer told our employee we had authorization of $1000 to align the transmission. When she came to pick up the car, it ,would not go into gear. Customer bought a clutch kit with alignment tool and tried themselves to do to work previously. We told her slave cylinder could be bad; she' would need to leave the car for us to diagnose further She paid the bill and left. The owner personally called her while he was on vacation and told her he would put the clutch in at no charge. That in itself was a 10 hour labor job. We comploeted the work. Employee brought ;the car to pick her up in Killeen and drove employee back to our shop. She claimed we charged $158.71 for alignment but as per our invoice, we only charged $67.46 which was at a 25% discount. We paid the tow bill which would have been an additional $65.00. We installed the clutch at no charge. We went above and beyond as a far to our employee. We are not willing to refund any
Sincerely,
