RE: Reverend [redacted]
To whom it may concern,
StatAssist is an ethical dissertation consulting firm. We assist doctoral students with their formal research papers. We do not write dissertations for clients, rather, we help...

them with the technical components of the project to ensure consistency, content fidelity, and accuracy.
In August 2013 Reverend [redacted] contracted with us to help him complete his dissertation. At that time Reverend [redacted] deposited 600.00 toward a $2250.00 invoice for assistance with Chapters 1, 2, and 3. Rev. [redacted] paid an additional $600.00 in late September 2013 toward his balance. We completed chapters 1, 2, and 3 and the University approved the chapters. Rev [redacted] owed $1150.00, but has not paid the balance to date. In November, 2013 Rev. [redacted] subsequently sent out invitations to participants to complete his doctorial survey. Unfortunately, not one participant responded to the survey. Rev [redacted] felt that his subjects may have been politically and culturally motivated to not take the survey.
In December 2015, approximately 2 years after our initial project was completed, Rev. [redacted] contacted us to help him resurrect his dissertation. Rev. [redacted] agreed, (based on our recommendation) that we should revise his dissertation by creating new research questions and specify subjects that might be more willing to take a survey.
Rev. [redacted] deposited $650.00 with us in December of 2015 to start on a new dissertation. Since that time we have completed, with university approval, a new prospectus (about 17 pages) and Chapter 1 (about 20 pages). We have also completed Chapter 3 (about 20 pages) that has yet to be delivered. Rev. [redacted] owes $1150.00 from 2013 and owes $1750.00 for current work. We have sent him the new prospectus, Chapter 1, and have helped him with Chapter 2, but have yet to be compensated for the work. We have completed Chapter 3, but will not deliver the project until we get paid in full for current work.
Since we are an ethical dissertation consulting firm, the client must participate in the writing process. This process serves the client and serves the larger doctoral community. This means that after we provide strong guidance, the client must write content, which we will edit to ensure it meets our standards. As evidenced by Rev. [redacted]' complaint, writing coherent sentences is not his strong suit. As such, this takes extra time and significantly more work to ensure a quality product. We did not charge Rev. [redacted] extra for this additional service. Through the years, we have worked successfully with Rev. [redacted] to get his dissertation chapters approved by Argosy University despite the challenges we faced with his project. Argosy University appears to have faithfully served Rev. [redacted].
Argosy University is a very good online university and has successfully served tens of thousands of students. Similarly, we have been in business since the inception of the internet and have successfully served thousands of students over the years too. We do not have a contractual relationship with Argosy University, but many professors and universities recommend our services due to our professionalism and product quality.
We served Reverend [redacted] successfully in 2013 and when things did not work out for him, he asked us to help him again in 2015. To date, our assistance has led to Rev. [redacted] receiving approval on all of his submissions to the university. We regret that Rev. [redacted] is having a difficult time understanding and completing the doctoral process. We also regret that Rev. [redacted] finds it difficult to pay for work completed. However, we cannot continue to serve this client unless he pays his account in full.
Warmly,
[redacted] (Ph.D.) CEO

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/06/30) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
In response to Dr. [redacted] comment,
Yes, in August 2013, I (Rev. [redacted]), yes contracted with StatAssists, recommended by Argosy University during an orientation for new dissertation student in Phoenix, AZ, in which Dr. [redacted] was present at this orientation. The contract deal was $2,250.00 for the completion of
Retainer $600.00
Chapter 3 Complete $600.00
Chapter 1 Complete $600.00
Chapter 2 Complete $450.00
Yes, I (Rev. [redacted]) deposit on Aug. 15, 2013 $600.00 for the work of Chapter 1, in which, Argosy University recommend to do first. On September 19, 2013, another deposit of $600.00 was made to StatAssists for Chapter 3, in which, it was recommended by Argosy University. At this moment, working on my perspective with Dr. [redacted], assuming (former employee at StatAssists), the work was going well until Dr. Cole was removing from assistance me. As I (Rev. [redacted]) continue working on my dissertation StatAssists at one point, couldn't find the work that was send to Dr. [redacted]. It took almost a year to finally have my work appeared, (prospectus and chapter 1), but incomplete and returned to me, not on a timely manner for Argosy University to approve.
Dr. [redacted] said, "We completed chapters 1, 2, and 3 and the University approved the chapters." I have to say, that is not true. Within the XXXX-XXXX, my dissertation work was never approved by Argosy University. Moreover, yes, a survey was send out to over 135 clergies for statistics purpose for the dissertation StatAssists, never return my phone-calls to find-out what will be the next step to continue my dissertation. I also have to say, that the Argosy University mentor Dr. Smith never returned my phone-calls or e-mails concerning this process with StatAssists.
Because of the delay on the dissertation, no guidance, no help from StatAssists, as what their motto can be, per Dr. [redacted], "help them with the technical components of the project to ensure consistency", I withdrew from Argosy University on December 2014.
In December 2015, yes, approximately one year being away from school, I decided to return to complete my Ed.D in Pastoral Community Counseling, with the intention of seeking a new dissertation consulting firm. I never agreed, to return back to StatAssists, but had no choice because Dr. [redacted] didn't want to return the work that I provided, because he said, that I had to pay the balance of $1050.00. I (Rev. [redacted]) explained to Dr. [redacted], that the work (Chapter 1 and 3) was never turned in to Argosy University for approval and chapter two was never started, so, why am I going to pay for work that was not even started? At this moment, I called [redacted] Academic Counselor explaining to him this situation but it never was solve for me to go with another firm and Mr. North advised me to give Dr. [redacted] another chance.
So, in December 2015, I deposit another $650.00 to continue my dissertation, in which, I am thinking that the owing balance is $400.00.
As I (Rev. [redacted]) continue working at my dissertation, now Dr. [redacted] is changing the title of my dissertation from: "Engaging the Psychological Base therapy with the Biblical Counseling Method with Hispanic Ministers" to "Parishioners Attitudes Toward Ministers Use of Psychological Theories" and explains to me that I now owe $2400.00 for (new dissertation) work on new prospectus, Chapter 1, and Chapter 3. Being that, I paid $650.00 towards my first dissertation, which leaves me a balance of $400.00, Dr. [redacted] statement is:
Hi Rev,
Here is a summary of our discussion based on our phone conversation at 1030am 6-20-16
Ok, Chapter 2 looks pretty good. I can use this content for the introduction section of Chapter 2. I need 10-15 pages on Use of Psychology theories in practice (historically, and current)
Chapter 3 is complete.
I had to create a survey for your study since your DV is Parishioners Attitudes Toward Ministers Use of Psychological Theories. (I have done this at no charge provided current balance is paid)
I have content validated the new survey (at no charge provided current balance is paid), but we will still have to construct validate it through a pilot study after IRB approval (this will cost $500.00).
Originally you paid 1200.00 toward 2200.00 bills for Prospectus and Proposal work in 2013. At this point, we are considering waving the balance provided current payment is made
In 2015 you have paid 650.00 toward $2400.00 for work on new prospectus, Chapter 1, and Chapter 3. Your balance is $1750.00
Warmly,
Dr. [redacted]
Dr. [redacted] states, that "... as evidenced by Rev. [redacted] complaint, writing coherent sentences is not his strong suit." Dr. [redacted] might be right, but that doesn't make me (Rev. [redacted]) unintelligent of my knowledge of the psychotherapy theory and biblical counseling, especially when one is in a doctoral program and my GPA is 3.64.
One again, dr. [redacted] states, "To date, our assistance had led to Rev. [redacted] receiving approval on all of his submissions to the university", again that is not true, because I have been dismiss from school because of timely manner work not provided to the university and my pass [redacted] with my dissertation process is "NC".
So, I will like to know who's work is Dr. [redacted] talking or stating about, because Argosy University had none of my work with the exception of the prospectus and chapter 1. Argosy University doesn't have Chapter 2 or three for approval.
And about paying for my work, I have no problem paying for my dissertation guidance as Dr. [redacted] stated that, "He regrets that Rev. [redacted] finds it difficult to pay for work completed." No, I don't find-it difficult, what I find unjust is paying for work that has not been forward to me, from StatAssists, to forward to the University for Approval.
In Regards,
Rev. [redacted]
