afternoon, immediately following lunch, took a deposit to our bank, [redacted] of Sharon Hill, Pa which included the two money orders Ms. [redacted] had given us that morning. Later that same afternoon Ms. [redacted] contacted me and wanted her money back because she had found a cheaper deal. I contacted our bank since the money orders were already deposited and was told, by our bank, that we needed to let them clear before we gave her the money back. We explained, several times and even let Ms. [redacted] speak with our bank so that she understood their policies. The bank in turn told Ms. [redacted] if she wanted to speed the process up, she would have to go to the point of purchase and bring proof that the money orders in fact were "cleared", This process was explained to Ms. [redacted] at least 10 times when she called our shop every day until she received her deposit back on Monday, May 9, 2016. Ms. [redacted] spoke of my angry demeanor but she did not go into detail of her ill treatment of me.She was given her full deposit back as soon as we were told by our bank that the funds had cleared. We have been in business for over 30 years and we follow the policies that our bank lays out for us. After receiving this complaint we reported it to our local bank and they in turn checked with the general manager to confirm that they did indeed follow proper protocol.
